This place is bombdiggity, Ive been a regular here for sometime and every time I leave im dabbed out, its amazing! John makes this place what it is, its comfortable and always maintains its family vibe. Every time Im trying to get wax, I feel good giving John that donation cause I know he has by best interest on his mind. Ive Been Coming To The Fruit For Over A Year. Last Monday A Patient Came In Upset Over A Free 2.3 Grams. To Me This Is Disturbing Since The Flowers In Question Were Premium Quality Also He Got Them For Free. I Do Not Understand How A Collective That Give So Much Spirit Can Be Targeted. Obviously Whomever This Person Is Has No Idea Of Quality Meds Or How To Even Go About Returning An Unwanted Product . You Do Not Walk In To A Place Start Yelling Disrupting Saying That You Showed Four Different People The Meds . To Me It Shows How Weak Your Morals Are For The Medical Marijuana Community In The Greater Silicon Valley Of San Jose. I'm A Regular At Fruit Of The Spirit I Enjoy The Owner John He Is A Very Giving Person . Being A Non- Profit Collective John Faces Other Challenges Than Most Other Collectives Since He Has No Payroll Or Employees. The Fruit Is Ran By Patients We All Help Out Here . I Enjoy The Fruit OF The Spirit If You Want A New Place To Enjoy Getting Meds This Is The Once Stop Shop Just Have To Call First No Walk-Ups Are Taken . 11/7/2012 - huskieshark

I am one of the volunteers at the Fruit of the Spirit and I love the different people i meet working here, the previous comment from somestranger was every wrong. I am also the daughter of the owner John Williams, he was right i witnessed the outbursts but they came from him the man who claims we are all about money. He is also wrong about that, we are a true "collective" and my dad does only seek to help people, But people like somestranger give us true collectives a bad name, the medicine that he and his friends say was sprayed with something is a wonderful strain and i would recommend everyone try it for themselves before they listen to someone who is clearly use to garbage and the lowest of low. He must go to other dispensaries and they treat him like s*** but here he was treated right so that gives him the right to judge what we do with his snob attitude? I ask anyone who as not come to our collective to come see what were all about and sample the different meds and then you make the call yourselves. Please don't listen to this person who has nothing but negative feedback. As some of you will note he wrote a previous comment commending us and praising the Fruit of the Spirit just to get medicine for free. Not to mention this person didn't even want to take the time to talk to the grower and see what he might have done to it or learn anything about the Jack & Jill. He just wanted the "$25" that were not owed to him because he got it free!!!. Its funny how low some people will go to disgrace someone and tell lies. He also said that my father was the only one that had an outburst but funny thing is he was the one who had an outburst, As he left the building flipping us all off and yelling. He left and will be truly stupid for the things he said and the actions he did to the own who is a wonderful man and only seeks to do better by people. That's okay somestranger you can say what you like but everyone else that comes here has there own minds and will not make decisions based upon something someone like you said. I'm sure if they knew you personally then it would be a different story. This has been my go-to spot for months now. I enjoyed the laid back approach, and John seemed like an honorable man. Their cannabis was also a good value for the money and it seemed like a respectable "collective." John, the owner, enjoys telling tall tales about how FOTSC is one of the only true "collectives" around and how they were "blessed by the spirit" to be in business. He even insists that they are so non-profit that none of the employees, including him, are paid. (Yet non-profits across the country have payrolls... it just means they don't make a profit afterward). The facade of benevolence became abundantly clear after my latest visit. I had acquired some "Jack and Jill" and "Super Silver Haze" a few days earlier. The SSH was very good if a bit old and dry, but the J&J was clearly adulterated with some sort of flavoring. It smelled and tasted like a Swisher Sweets cigarillo, leaving a disgusting residue on the back of the throat unlike any cannabis I have ever had from anywhere. This surprised me greatly, since I had tried some of the J&J in the lounge before and it tasted and smelled nothing like the product that I received this visit. Additionally, four of my friends agreed that it did not smell natural at all. So, I took the bag back to the dispensary still filled with bud expecting that John would make it right. At first he did not believe me whatsoever. Then based on the hypothetical that it was sprayed, he accused me of spraying it myself so that I could scam him (WHAT!?). I asked him to inspect it and he insisted that it was Jack and Jill. I tried explaining how I had tried this strain before and it did not have such an unnatural smell or taste to it. Instead of listening to me, he hysterically cut me off insisting that if I had tried it I would agree it was unadulterated. I asked him to quit BSing me/listen to what I have to say and he was unrelenting. I got up to leave without taking the tainted bud I had come to return and told him "It is clear how much money is worth to you." Their door to the outside is locked, so I had to wait for John to let me out. Rather than letting me leave and be done with it, he began screaming at me for being ungrateful and how “it’s not about the money!” Finally, he let me out as his landlord and daughter watched him blow his gasket over a measly $25. He continued yelling at me from the doorway until I got in my car and left the premises. I do not understand how a dispensary that goes so far out of its way to convince you it’s not about the money but about empowering the community, etc. can be so callous. John valued $25 over a loyal customer despite his endless narrative about being a non-profit and not being about money. After discovering the true nature of this place I cannot in any good conscience recommend it. Never in my life have I had an experience approaching the level of unprofessionalism and callous disregard for a loyal customer as I have today. 11/6/2012 - somestranager

FOTS, fruit of the spirit is always my favorite dispensary to visit, if i need anything, ANYTHING i can surley find it here, flowers, wax/concentrates, medibles, and even recently vape pens! John is an amazing person who always knows and gives advice on medicine, the vibe here is also great, friendly, and compassionate, you can take your time here and talk with other patients about meds or anything else, i always feel comfortable at FOTS and i think it is THE BEST dispensary in all of the San jose area, and ive been to quite a few clubs ;) fruit of the spirit is doing everything right, they even give back to the community by donating canned food donations tofood banks! 7/23/2012 - sal408
