I wrote one of the reviews below... Specifically the one about Norwegian Kush. Things went south in this co-op fast. They no longer carry the strains I depended on to treat my conditions. They went from sourcing other medicine to providng their own in house grower called Green Thumb. The prices have gone up, but the quality is not the same as it used to be. The trim job on the medicine is not where it should be. To much leaf material is left behind. They quit using bottles and switched to squishing your medicine in plastic bags. There also seems to be some shady stuff going on behind the scenes politics wise... and it scared me off permanently. One of the employees Paul (The Green Thumb Grower) kind of comes off like a used car sales men. Was more interested in talking about how awesome the medicine was as opposed to working with my needs. How the mighty have fallen... 4/19/2013 - SlightlyMedicated

We've missed you at PCN and we are very sorry we were no longer able to carry the Norwegian Kush. Unfortunately, there is no Norwegian Kush factory where we can place a bulk order...just one grower who decided to raise the price because he knew it was a popular strain. If you will recall we asked you if you thought $336 for an Ounce was a fair price and you said "No!" Never heard of Green Thumb, but our house varieties are from the same grower we've used for several years. As for the "politics" we realize you are friends with a former employee and appreciate your loyalty to that person. Hopefully that isn't what this review is about ;-) We currently have over 20 strains available...a wide variety that seems to fill our patients needs very well. We realize that it's a long trip for you, but if you are ever in the neighborhood we would love a second chance to help you find a strain that works for you. 4/23/2013 - Patient Care Network Compassion in Action

If we were to sit here and type all of the compliments it would sound over the top and sappy. That said, we have been coming up here since they opened at the old location, so that has been a few years. Although faces change behind the counter they are ALWAYS helpful, compassionate, and friendly. We are always greeted by an upbeat person who knows who we are (or does after one meeting), and has great suggestions if we ask. We have been to other dispensaries in the past but did not like the "drug den" feeling or that many of the counter people were so medicated that they had difficulty staying on task. We drive from southern Pierce county and have dispensaries within a couple of miles of our house, but we do not even consider changing because we have honestly found compassion in action here. Why try to fix something that is not broken? 4/14/2013 - neffer

If i were to sit here and say all the things wrong with this dispensary it would sound winded and and it would go on and on. I am simply going to leave it at this; it is very unfortunate that being a person who is an avid dispensary goer I will rarely if ever again go to this dispensary. The words care and compassion seem to have been forgoten about. P.S. - You should really consider taking care of the bugs flying around everywhere! 3/19/2013 - Cman611

I love the way I am treated at this shop.. like a friend. The helpful staff has helpful advice and they take their time with you. I have had my card for over 3 years, have tried other shops and even tho their are a lot more convenient locations for me, I always take my business here! <3 2/22/2013 - VickiD

From my very first visit, I remember Paul Best being so patient and attentive, answering each of my many questions. The name really does say it all; "Care"and "Compassion" along with absolutely thorough product knowledge and commitment to giving the best price ALWAYS. And what can I say about "grower" Paul. I LOVE this guys energy. This is a truly gifted individual with a passion and joy and sense of wonder. He loves his plants and concentrates and his joy in sharing, and it really does feel less like a transaction and more like a (?) blessing (?). He simply radiates joy and gratitude; -He always thanks EVERYONE for coming in. And Marshall, I cannot begin to thank you for all of your kindnesses. AND KEVIN, AND STEVE. Look at all of the dispensaries on the Leafly maps; the medications are all pretty much at the same level at this point but finding people who truly believe in what they're doing, and who have such good hearts, IS a blessing and this is an enterprise that should get your support. 1/6/2013 - dali333

The most professional dispensary in the Seattle-Metro area. Staff has an excellent understanding of various medical conditions and corresponding strain recommendations. After suffering fibromyalgia for 8 years and 5 physicians, PCN recommended a medication which has provided complete relief from ALL my symptoms. WHITE WIDOW!!! 12/2/2012 - amilmph

I have been going here for over 2 years, and I love this place. I walk in, people remember who I am, without having to be ID. Paul (either of them) have been nice, patient, and informative. And they carry some of the best medication I have ever found. They also have the lowest prices I have found. The only thing negative is the tax on medications. You don't pay tax on your prescription drug, why with this medication. ( I understand that it makes sense to keep a legal and taxable presence.) Why not just add the tax to the price of medication? I go in with a limited resource of money and I have keep in mind that nearly 9% of the price of medication goes to taxes. So I get less than I have money for. This is not PCN fault and I don't blame them.) I hope with the legalization of Pot in Washington, maybe we could tax the pot, but not collect taxes when used for medical purposes. 11/26/2012 - nwmtn

Amazingly compassionate staff. Paula and other staff are pharmacist/nurse/plant expert in one. I look for plants that aid for clarity and energy and address other cognitive symptoms related to MS. Due to irregular supply, I often have to look for a new strain. But the staff helps me find the best replacement. Thank you — I love this place! 6/15/2012 - holding
