Cannatonic Cannabis Strain

I tried this because of it's high CBD %. While I think the high CBD's do help with my chronic back pain. I think this gets me a little more stoned than I'd like to be during the day. Harlequin seems to be a better option (if you can find it!) for patients looking for pain relieve and less of the head high. This is a good medical strain, but for me had more of a psychoactive high than the Harlequin, or Raskal OG.

This is not your run of the mill strain. Very high in CBD. Typically low psychoactive and makes you very focused. Great for pain and definitely worth a try. Peace. FriendKen.

Cannatonic is a very unique strain, from my experience. I usually smoke THC dominant bud, whether it be a heavy Indica or a daytime Sativa. This is true medicinal marijuana, though. Cannatonic has very little psychoactive effect. For some, that is a negative, but for some it is a major and strain defining positive. This certainly isn't recreational weed. It isn't going to get you stoned or high. This is just pure good stuff with true medicinal effects. About 5-10 minutes after smoking, the effect starts to set in. A very nice, broad body buzz, all pain melts away, physical, emotional, and mental. This strain has all the medicinal benefits of marijuana, without the psychological effects. Personally, I quite enjoy the psychological high from THC, but for those of you out there truly looking for marijuana purely from a medicinal standpoint, for those of you who need relief but don't want to get high or be cloudy, this it it. The strain is very high in CBD, and low in THC. It's very good stuff, it can be up to 60 for 1/8, but you can find deals on it too. Very worth it.

Cannatonic is a great high CBD strain... in fact, I have never seen anything like this. I purchased it two different times from SPARC in SF, which tests for THC/CBD and shows it on the package. The first batch said 16.8% CBD to 6.8% THC, the second batch was 16% CBD and only 1% THC! CBD blocks anxiety and paranoia along with some other effects caused by high THC, but is also great for muscle spasm and pain, to some extent. The best thing is you can mix it with another high THC variety and get the best of both worlds... this helps get the benefits of THC with less anxiety. This strain is also probably the best for medical cannabis beginners as CBD prevents any overly intense high.

Massive time distortion - time goes by slow. Ticks and muscle spasms are gone. Very lucid and light, but happy tone to this strain's vibe. Paranoia and distorted thoughts are relieved and are far in the background of the mind. A glowing feeling of well-being radiates from the chest. Conversation is easy and jovial.

My new favorite strain. It was the perfect balance of a sativa and indica. It took care of my pain, but didn't knock me out or make me feel jittery. Felt calm, happy and focused. It might have lasted longer or felt stronger if I had smoked more of it, but I usually only smoke about 1/4 of a bowl at a time.

I wasn't expecting to feel the strong head buzz from this strain since I had read that it was a high CBD strain. I completely underestimated the psychoactive effects as well as the pain relief. I felt focused, appreciative of the beautiful flowers, and had an overall kindness feeling. Thanks, Dockside!

Happy, clear headed high. A little bit of anxiety, but no paranoia.
