NL is one of the most complex starins I've came across with. No wonder it's still the shit after half a century of existence. I've heard a whole variety of different descriptions, so I guess you really have to be picky with the genetics, mine were from sensi seeds. Now with the effects: it gets you high as hell everytime, no matter what's your tolerance level. People say its completely indica but mine had a great cerebral effect, it's not an uplifting or speedy efect it's kinda psychedelic, trippy, sometimes creepy if you smoke a lot of it. I swear, sometimes me and my friends start to get really paranoid and triping about everything. It's definatly a stay at home weed, perfect to get baked with some friends and just laugh until your face starts to hurt. The body stone is completely narcotic, but it ain't hipnotic, after the stone (almost 2 hours+/-) wears of you get pretty couch-locked maybe even tired if smoked at night but I wouldn't say it's good for sleeping. One thing that really impressed me is that if you smoke a good joint at night and you go to bed high you'll wake up the next day still a bit high (I know it may sound crazy), thats how strong it is. Sometimes I can't finish a whole joint by myself. Now, the bad aspects is that you can't function well and control yourself near other people. Another bad aspect is the taste, it's very hashy with hints of pine and earth, very overwhelming, not my cup of tea and definetly the worst about this dinossaur strain. One thing to say before closing: if it's real northen lights you'll always get baked as hell!!!!

Northern Lights was the first marijuana I have ever smoked. It was lovely. I was so afraid to, but I loved it. It took me a few minutes for it to kick in but once it did I felt great. I loved it. I did get insanely paranoid though after a bit, that everyone was staring at me, but I am like that on a regular basis and it was happening as it was wearing off. It hit me as I was getting a giant tub of frozen yogurt with my girlfriend and all of a sudden I was in complete dream mode. I couldn't blink because I thought everything would disappear. I could hear everything, it was all so bright, and all so lovely. I had to sit because I didn't feel like I was the one controlling my feet. It was wonderful and definitely made me wanting more! Lasted for a long time, too.

Absolutely astounding strain. Picked some up the other day. The buds were a light green color, and were covered in orange and white trichomes. I smoked two bowls with my roommate and we were stoned out of our minds. The high is a powerful stone, which comes on gradually and leaves you uplifted for a few hours.

Cheery and glowy. Emphasis on sound - when everything else feels fuzzy, sound remains pristinely clear. A lot of heady high - but in the odd sense you FEEL it in your head, but it actually remains quite clear-minded. You feel legitimately happy. Physically, you're relaxed and at ease wherever. There's an enjoyable anticipation in your stomach. Very content and peaceful.

Me and my friend hit this out of a bong one night in a hurry, some asshole played a joke on us and said the cops came right as we hit a giant nugget; what occurred next was legendary to us. We sat in my car, in a parking lot for 4 hours straight unable to move, and staring at the stars, after that time we drove (with great difficulty) to a restruant where we stared at our food for 2 hours before we came down. We have never even came close to being this high again, it was the strongest stuff I've ever came into contact with.

I liked northern lights. It wasn't over the top at all. A few joint hits did me just fine.

AKA Aurora Borealis. Gives a dream like state of mind. It's a very green and very frosty bud with lots of dark orange hairs. Earthy Pine flavor with a musky smell with undertones of zesty lemon-lime. I have a high-tolerance and this strain takes care of any ailments I'm having very quickly and efficiently. Always a good strain to keep in the medication bag.
