A favorite in the household. Pissy smell (in wine terminology, which isn't a bad thing) and big, dense buds give a strong, buzzing head high that makes you feel like Mr. Mackey did when *he* smoked a joint, and you kinda float along. Wonderfully relaxing, good taste... mmmm....

No wonder Willie endorses it! I like this strain a lot. It makes one feel floaty and very relaxed, and it's very smooth with a smokey flavor. Nice dark buds with short, dark hairs and a classically weedy smell that isn't overpowering (unless it's fresh!). A perfect joint strain.

This is a fantastic party bud, I have to admit. I was skeptical at first, seeing the small, fluffy, lightly coloured nuggets of BS (haha), and wasn't thrilled by the taste, though it was pleasant. Nor did it smell particularly strongly, so I hadn't hoped for much. After a few minutes, though, it hits like a freight train and puts you in a fantastic, sociable mood that lasts a decent amount of time. I highly recommend it to anyone who's a social smoker.

What a pretty looking bud. The trichomes are truly tangerine colored, and each nugget is like a little pine tree. Very floral, almost piney scent beneath the usual skunkiness, and it smokes smoother than most other strains I know of. Not widely available from my experience, though, and it can be expensive. Good for a top shelf sample though!

I wish I could find this strain everywhere. It's potent, beautifully fluffy while being dense too, and tastes smokey and piney, with maybe a hint of... leather? It's a distinctive taste among buds, is what I'm getting at. But, just like its namesake, it burns on the way down! Coughing fits are to ensue, for sure, but it's definitely worth it for the stoney, mellow buzz that follows. If you see it - get it.

This is a strain that I've often heard gets you "scary high." I can attest to this - though it's a hybrid, the head buzz is absolutely wicked, and it makes one forgetful. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic strain; it looks average, smells average, but smokes very well, and the buzz is exceptionally powerful. Well worth the effort to find, but I only know of one breeder of this particular strain at the moment. If anyone knows where to get this (and NOT Apollo 11 - they are NOT the same strain!) I suggest you seize the opportunity.

This distinctive-looking bud is great for smoking anytime. Dark purple/green with same-coloured trichomes and a light skunky smell define it, as well as the smokey-piney flavour. The buzz is very relaxing, and is primo for walking around and enjoying a lazy day (or night), especially if you're trying to destress. Good stuff.

Blue Cheese is a good go-to strain for night time smoking or pain relief. Most BC I've seen is a lush green colour with tan trichomes, and a very, very skunky smell that will infect absolutely any environment it's contained in. Very pleasant to smoke, as it is quite smooth and has a rich, grassy flavour that makes for a good bowl.

A decent strain, I can't seem to think of any particularly defining characteristics, other than its citrusy-skunky scent and the fact that it burns like premium Russian vodka on the way down. A nice lazy buzz, though, and it's great for smoking out friends, as it is strong without being unaffordable.

This strain has impressed me each time I've tried it. It's visually appealing, being very very heavily crystalled with pale trichomes and a sweet, floral scent. The buzz is very strong - on par with White Widow and Alaskan Thunderfuck - and is ambient. Scarcity and false strains of this have led to a mixed reputation, but if you get a reliable source for this one, don't hesitate to give it a try.

Far and away one of my favorites, I've only had the opportunity to try this once, but I was extremely impressed. While I don't recall the physical details of the bud (other than "jesus, that's beautiful") it tasted very, very piney and grassy. The buzz is immediate and ascending, like a wonderful pressure in the head, and stays for hours. This is the ultimate strain for partying with, or for outdoor excursions. If you find this and you happen to be a grower, please, for the love of God, propagate this strain!

This whitish/dark-green, long-leaved bud is coughy and smokey in flavour, but definitely gives a strong head high. Warning: may make you order a "football meatlong" at Subway, as you'll want to be up and moving around to fully enjoy the effects of this bud.

They call it Green Crack because it's really good, but leaves you yearning for more soon. The high doesn't last to long, but it's a strong, uniquely energetic buzz. The buds tend to be bright, Crayola green in tiny, dense nuggets, and the smell is light, fresh, and citrusy. Good to smoke, but nothing to get super excited about.

Characteristically kush, GDpurps is generally smooth. That is, a nice skunky smell, dark foliage, easy hits, and a distinctively mellow buzz are the defining features of this bud. Good for relaxing after a hard day, and smoking alone (in the worst case scenario).

If basic, it's still a classic for a reason. It's really quite difficult to pin down the exact phenotypic characteristics of this particular strain (and I'm sure many "AK47" strains out there aren't really what they purport to be), the buzz tends to be drawn out and lazy, and generally leaves the smoker able to interact with the outside world. A nice staple strain, indeed.

I've had this a couple times, and both have been a pleasure. While the high doesn't last terribly long, it's a full-body experience that leaves you buzzing everywhere and, frankly, stupefied. Several of my friends have reported hallucinatory effects, though that might just be the result of crazy friends. The buds are scrawny but dense, and very, very deep green (its name is a misnomer), and it's got a lightly grassy/piney scent. I suggest this strain for walks or video games - either will be vivid and entertaining.

A favorite go to strain. Not the best, not the strongest, but you can smoke this every day and be just as happy.
