“First time in, will definitely be heading back. High quality flower (loving the J1-a very energetic and clear-headed sativa that I can still get a lot accomplished while smoking) and Blue Cheesecake...intense flavor, more lethargy inducing, however. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that are happy to take the time to discuss the multitude of selections, never felt rushed. Thumbs up!!”
“It's a clean, well stocked place that has a good range of prices and product. The people that work there are friendly and helpful if you have any questions. Great location on Alberta and I will be stopping by plenty.”
“This was my first time in about two weeks ago. I got some shatter, some c02 carts and 12 grams of the house RSO. I was going to buy Siskyou RSO but the price for a 10ml is incorrect on this menu (still has not been fixed) so I opted for the house made that was of similar strength and a lower price. What a terrible mistake. The RSO I got here is by far the worst I have gotten at any dispensary: incredibly watery, so much so that it started melting gel caps almost instantly when I would try and set up doses. I don't know if it was not decarbed properly but i have to take about 2 grams of this stuff to feel anything close to relief. Compare that to a gram or less of higher quality RSO with similar test results. Also most RSO tastes bad but this one is really bad, downright awful. I feel stupid for not getting a sample gram or 2 first, now I am sitting here with about 6 grams left of low quality RSO after trying it over and over trying to convince myself it wasn't garbage. I wish I would have been patient and gone down the street and gotten the Siskyou RSO cheaper (or even just bought it here). A shitty lesson to learn but one I've learned nonetheless.
On the plus side the staff was nice and my carts and shatter were good, but I don't really see going back considering it is quite the drive from my house.”
We apologize for the quality of that RSO! Please bring back any remaining product and we will make sure to compensate you for your troubles with a refund or exchange. We'll find a way to make it up to you!
“Great little neighborhood boutique dispensary, with knowledgeable staff and a nice range of products, including Lady Green Treat's lollipops, one of the best medible products on the market. Just off the corner of 13th and NE Alberta, this dispensary is well located, and boasts a food cart just outside the door serving some of the best Mexican food on the street. Friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, and top-shelf product, what's not to love?”
“We went in on Sunday at 2:00. The budtender was extremely knowledgeable. She explained many products to us in depth. She mentioned the pro's and con's for the products in association with our smoking devices and my medical condition. She really knew her stuff! My only regret is that I did not catch her name. She was so kind, informative, and patient with me, as I am new to herbal medicine. The man working at the front desk was friendly, too.”
“I'm never the one to leave a bad review but this is honestly been the worst experience in a dispensery so far and I've been a medical patient for about 6 years now. I'll start off on a good note they were friendly but not knowledgeable about pricing and product. The female Bud tender said they had a solvent free product witch they don't she doesn't know anything about concentrates and doesnt know how they are made let alone how much they cost. She tried to tell me in front of another patient that if someone is calming solvent free it's a lie. Well you really need to educate your bud tenders . I produce a high quality fractionally distilled product that is solvent free. I would of dropped off a sample but I feel my product wouldn't be represented well because of the staffs general lack of knowledge of cannabis and concentrates. #dissapointed”
Dear Beardeddabber - Luckily, the management here at AGH was made aware of your conversation prior to this review's posting. We were told about how you wanted to argue as to the finer points of "solventless" and "solvent-free" extracts, to which there is at least a difference regarding origin and process. It sounds like this was one point on which your opinions differed regarding how these products should be labeled and referred to. We are all about transparency here at AGH, so the process and origin are things we consider important before using terms that could otherwise confuse or even mislead our customers.
As it happens, that Budtender is a Reed graduate with a great deal of laboratory experience with processes including and much more complicated than fractional distillation.
As for your concerns regarding our Budtender's knowledge of pricing here at AGH, it sounds like she knew exactly what she was talking about when it comes to our policies for sales and combining multiple discounts. Just because you felt that some other shop has a better policy than ours, it doesn't make our Budtender "wrong" about pricing.
Also, we did not appreciate the lack of professionalism you displayed when blatantly telling our customers to go to another dispensary (where you work?) while in our Budtending room. I don't think we'll be working with you, ever.
