“Altitude has an awesome atmosphere. Every time I go in I don't feel any pressure to hurry and the Budtenders always have good information for me. Taunya (manager) went above and beyond to help me get some faulty carts replaced. And she is always getting new products for me to try... ;^)..... Go visit Altitude. You won't regret it.”
“Don't let the trolls full you! This place has the lowest prices compared to the other stores. Easy access off I-82 and best and widest selection available. Been to all the local stores and definitely prefer this place.”
“wow what a nice change from "The Bake Shop" very friendly didn't feel like I was rushed and they took the time to find out what I was looking for. Plus they just changed all the prices and everything is way cheap! I'll be back.”
“it's better than nothing.... really thought it was great when they first opened... but I don't care for the setup at all. The true recreational marijuana experience is not at Altitude. The staff is hit or miss and they are not that helpful... specials quickly change and their menus are constantly changing. I have been in a few times and every time I pick out something they run out.
Sucks to drive that far and you don't really get what you went for... but it's easy to get to and not far from the Tri-Cities!”
“There's limited selection in SE Washington. This is the very first store I ever visited, and it's kind of been a mixed bag each time. Someone mentioned that they are willing to replace faulty cartridges, and I sure wish I'd known that. Most of the carts I got there were either leaky or non-functional. On my first visit, the budtenders were friendly and knowledgeable, but I've never seen any of those people again. The last few times I've been, the staff is basically just there to move stock. If I'd been able to bring in my phone, maybe I'd have been able to look up some of the strains instead of waiting for the employees to come read the packaging to me, but there's a ban on tablets/phones. I feel like every time I visit, they've got a new owner. At least they're good about restocking these days. For a while, it was impossible to know what they might have at any given time. They've got a menu up now, and it's got some decent prices, but it's hardly worth a drive out to Prosser. The location is generally well-kept and seems secure enough. I'd only shop here again if I saw a really great deal on their menu, or if my local shop closed down. And I'd almost be inclined to go to Walla Walla instead, in the latter case.”
“Worst store I've been to in Washington state. over priced weed. can't even smell it or touch it. They have a waiting room that makes the process feel like you're visiting the doctor. won't ever be going back. I'll be waiting for stores to open that will close this shop down.
tldr: over priced flower. customers are made to feel awkward in "waiting room". scanning and saving my ID information. worst store around.”
We are sorry your experience was not idea. Scanning the ID is to protect our shop from invalid ID's and minors. We understand it can feel a little invasive, but NO information is stored. As for touching/smelling the product, it is illegal in the state of Washington to have open containers in the building.
We hope you will give us another shot.
Come by anytime 8am-11pm 7 days a week.
“Being a traveler from out of state, I'm happy to have the opportunity to enjoy what Altitude and the state of Washington has to offer. I've visited Altitude a few times now and so far their product has been very good. But I do have two major suggestions.
1: There seems to be an un-needed and over usage of packaging. The one thing I liked about Colorado is that you could walk into a dispensary look at the flowers lined up in jars on the counter. You can look at the product first hand, up-close, smell it, and even check the bud density. I walk into Altitude and everything's pre-packaged behind glass. You feel like a good percentage of what you're paying for is the slick packaging.
2:The menus are unclear and confusing. Since everything is pre-packaged in set grams broken up into price categories, it makes it difficult to buy specifically what strain you want and the amount you really want. Of course this goes back to the pre-packaging. Also, the past few times Indicas and Sativas have been incorrectly labeled on their menu. Chocolate chunk is not a Sativa.”
Thank you for taking the time to travel just to get to us!
As far as packaging and touching/smelling product here in the state of Washington, it is actually illegal to have an open container on store premises, so that is why everything is pre-packaged by the producer before we get it.
We have also revised our menus since your last visit.
We hope to see you again sometime soon!
