“This has to be one of the most amazing dispensaries the country will ever have. Hand crafted intentionally grown cannabis, cured and sold in glass jar..... Yeah this is not your normal experience you will have in search of cannabis in Oregon. The staff will
take you honestly and compassionately through the clean green certified flowers and concentrates they offer. From the moment you enter prepare for the way cannabis should be offered to humans. The work put into the Cannabis speaks for itself, but Nick and Jake can give you full analyst lab varified data that will back it up. Hazy Kush and Golden Pineapple have to be tops on all peeps who knows list.”
“Like many customers, I shopped here based on reviews. Having shopped many shops in Washington, this was my first Oregon experience. I think for those focused on aesthetics, this is an impressively higher end experience. The shops I've frequented have sold pre-packaged/pre-measured herb and menus are plentiful along with prices. This shop seemed to focus more on the attractive packaging and atmosphere and skipped over some important steps that may be important to new shoppers (which are plentiful in the area):
1) By law, they must require you show ID. However, they do not legally have the right to record your information or store it. I was VERY disapponted when upon having my ID in their hands, and I told them I did not want to be in their computer system, they entered me anyway. It also tracked my purchases, as it was a part of the labeling process. I regret moving forward at that point, have never had another shop disrespect my privacy (though they all check ID and monitor amts purchased).
I liked the bud tenders, who were helpful but did not see menus or prices listed. I told them I wanted to try a small amount of the recommendation and had heard the pricing was pretty good (compared to WA. with the higher taxes). Instead, he loaded me up and I didn't realize it until I was at the check out and soon my "little trial" was an $80 purchase. Again, I should have spoken up at that point as well but was honestly shocked. Their pricing was definitely not less than Wa. but I guess that's the tradeoff for organic product.
Haven't tried my purchase yet, suspect it's good quality but taking away or not giving me the options to make my own choices has possibly removed this shop from my long list of places to purchase. I appreciate quality, I appreciate transparency even more.”
“Now that retail has begun in Oregon, depending on where you live, you have a lot of choices. Based on recommendations from reddit users, I decided to come here first. Now, for those of us that have been border shopping in WA, shopping here in OR is a different experience. In WA, a lot of times you don't actually get to see and smell the product. There's also a serious lack of customer service at some places in WA. Calyxes is a completely different experience. It's insanely pleasant. Their staff is extremely helpful, willing to answer your questions and just all around good people. In WA everything is pre packaged, so there's that feeling of just being sold another product. At Caylxes, your purchase is placed in small Mason Jar jam jars, which you are encouraged to reuse on your next visit. My only complaint is the distribution method. The bud tenders are very quick and efficient, but the method of using chopsticks to take nugs from giant jars is just woefully inefficient as a whole. Yet that's what makes the experience so much better. It shows that this business wants to interact with you, not only selling you a product but selling you on the quality of their product and quality of service. They're quite proud of what they've cultivated and they should be, because they've got some amazing product to sell you.”
“Top notch dispensary in SW Portland. Excellent, focused selection of flower and concentrate; all of it top notch quality. Service is excellent and the dispensary feels modern and upscale. Amazing place to go.”
“Calyxes! I love that name!! It's super creative and it suits the environment well. This is a high class place. Clearly, a lot of thought went in this hidden gem filled with creative design elements and the dankest treats I have ever experienced. They let me whiff a potential purchase; I literally got giddy and about lost it! Might of even drooled a little. I can still smell it now (since some had to come home with me). I couldn't help but notice the smiles on the employees faces, they seemed genuinely happy. The guy up front, who I assume was the owner, was kind and full of life. He took great care to ensure everyone there felt welcome and informed. Such a positive vibe from a picture perfect experience. I will gladly travel up Capitol Hwy through the sites of Multnomah Village to visit you again.”
“I called ahead about 1 pm and asked if they had a particular strain on the shelf. The person stated yes they did. I went in waited in line asked for it and was told they had sold out as soon as they opened. I do not know if I will return here. I pay about half the going gram rate. I would buy it by the oz but you know the story.”
Thank you for the great feedback, we love to hear how our processes are working, or not working for that matter. When you called, we did indeed have Golden Pineapple (if that's what we're talking about) in stock. Golden Pineapple is one of our absolute favorite strains, and today, it went quick. Apologies for our team relaying two different stories - it was a crazy day for us and our small staff - but in the end, what a truly wonderful experience!
This evening, we restocked our Golden Pineapple supplies, so if you have a moment to swing in on Friday, I'll make sure you receive what you're looking for. Send us a direct email to firstname.lastname@example.org so I know who's name to hold the meds under, and we'll also make sure to include a token of our appreciation for your understanding in the matter.
Otherwise, you can find Green Bodhi med's at Farma, Oregon's Finest, and Happy Leaf.. possibly some other dispensaries as well, but you'll have to contact Green Bodhi for the latest updates on that.
Wishing you the best,
Nicholaus + Staff
