CannaDaddy's Reviews

  • “Today was my second and last time visiting this dispensary. In Portland this dispensary is known as one of the best and premier places to buy medicine. I went there today after seeing an ad on the dailyleaf.com. I spent money and primarily time traveling 30 minutes to this dispensary because of the deal they had listed on thedailyleaf.com. (5 specific strains of shatter from willamette Valley) When I arrived at the dispensary I told the gentleman what I was looking for and he immediately pulled it out. He told me the price would be around $80 I said there must be a mistake. I told him on the website it's listed as $25 for a medical patient. He said that I was wrong and that the website only had two strains listed. I told him no buddy I saw 5 listed. He pulled out a piece of paper that looked similar to the ad and loudly corrected me in front of other customers. I told him nicely hold on and I pulled out my phone and showed him that he was wrong. *store ad shows 2 strains *The website had 2 ads each showing 5 strains and all 3 ads different. He told me they made a mistake and it happens. The company changed the ad multiple times that day. The ad that I saw before leaving for the dispensary showed two different items on the list of 5. When I got to the dispensary the list on the website had changed and the dispensary itself had a different list from the 2 others. The guy then informed me that he would not agree to the sale price and that I had to pay $80 for the Gram. I told him goodbye and that I'll be letting others know of this shady practice. When the company is proven wrong they should do right by the customer. People search around Portland and use the Internet. You don't need to spend your hard earned money at a place like this.”

  • “This shop has it all, quality flower and concentrate, one of the biggest selections of edibles I've seen, knowledgeable budtenders and overall good customer service. Yea, the prices might be a little up there, but I've seen higher from dispensaries that market their own product, what a lot people don't understand is it's not the shop marking up prices to make a buck, some yes, but it's no different than fluctuating prices in the food industry; when you intake product at a high wholesale cost, you have to up the retail cost to cover labor and still make a profit. The problem doesn't even fall on the distributor or manufacturer, it falls on (in the marijuana industry) those who govern the program (OLCC). When you require $500 per product test at a lab, you just added $500 onto the wholesale price, which adds $500 to the retail price. I'm not here to justify an $18 gram of flower or a $72 gram of oil, I'm trying to give some clarity to those who feel they are overpaying for product. Write to OLCC, let them know 17% is too high of a tax to pay, ask them where your taxes are going, demand that taxes be lowered! Keep up the good work Canna Daddy's, you don't wind up with a huge shop and Dope Cup awards because you don't know what you're doing. You earned it. #realtalk”

  • “The whole experience from getting your ID checked to being thanked when you leave is top notch. I went another shop and the guy checking ID gave me a dirty look and went into the back. The bud tender seemed nervous and wasn't very knowledgeable. He was a nice guy though. I definitely recommend this place. If you live some distance away..it would be worth the trip going there.”

  • “Ugh, where to start? This is my neighborhood dispensary, and it's nice to have a dispensary within .5 miles of walking. The staff is usually nice. Those are the pros. Now, I have been to this dispensary probably a dozen+ times. I usually come in every two weeks to buy an ounce and an oil cartridge. I am the type of buyer that looks at the menu before coming in so I know what I want and can be in-and-out providing a healthy tip to the budtender. They have changed to a prepackaged dispensary months ago, but the process is still rudimentary. The last six weeks (last three visits), have been abysmal. One visit, I went in and got an O of Lemon Skunk. The staff had to run around to find an O. I ordered an O because it was listed on the menu as being available. What happened is that they grabbed 28 single grams that have been prepackaged. Then I had to wait for them to smpty the 28g into an O bag. After all that, they still gave me the empty 28 single gram bottles to dispose of. Total time of visit: about 20 times. Second recent visit, thought I'd be prepared and have a backup choice for flower and oil. They were out of my first and second choice of flowr. My third choice was a flower that they only had 28 single gram prepackaged, and had to put in an O bag. Instead of wasting any more time, I decided to just grabbed an O of Amnesia Haze because that was already packaged (and I'm not a sativa guy....).Then I ordered oil, and they were out of what I wanted. Had to choose something else. Total time: about 20 minutes. Now, I visited today. Made a list of 3 choices of flower and 3 choices of oil (based on their Leafly menu), and they were completely out of my first choice, and didn't have enough of my second and third choices for an O. I just walked out. Didn't even care about buying anything because it has become an inefficient process for me. What is the purpose of using a menu if it's not updated? What's the purpose of listing flower you're totally out of (lemon skunk), and the display was still up for this strain? I've decided to take my business elsewhere, and go out of my way to a shop that I can rely on when it comes to their inventory and their posting of the menu. I can't believe it would be that hard to update your leafly menu daily. Why have tablets in the lobby to search your Leafly menu if it's so inaccurate? I've also had experiences with unprofessional staff yelling across the floor to each other, talking inappropriately about women, etc. Lastly, I saw a comment about price issues. I can note, I have bought a budget ounce and Harle-Tsu oil cartridge on two separate visits, and the price was completely different. I think the first time was $170 something, and the second was $186 (and that includes a discount that was given for having to wait so long).”

    Comment from CannaDaddy's

Thank you for the opportunity to help us refine our procedures on updating the Leafly menu. Our budtenders are reconciling existing inventory with what we present on the menu, specifically referencing quantity available. This process is happening on a nightly basis.I hear that you're fed up on many levels but just know that you helped us improve greatly!

  • “While the check in room was a little bit confusing while occupied, this establishment has great vibes. Inside the dispencery you will immediately be greeted by your budtender, and have an opportunity to ask questions. This strategy leads to great customer service. ”
