All of our flowers are tested for mold, mildew, and other contaminants before we sell them to our customers. We urge all customers to return their product to the store in the event that they find any seeds, mold, etc. for a return or an exchange.
“Alright. I'm just going to be real. I came to Powell House because they had a strain that I was seeking that's only available here and is right down the street from my house. Upon arriving, I anticipated a homey, down-to-earth, and welcoming environment. I walked in, was greeted shortly by the receptionist, then allowed in to the bud room with two bud tenders. This place is in a house, but only takes up about a size of a living room. It was pretty cramped. I asked questions about the flower and received short and extremely vague answers. As a fellow bud tender, I understand the importance of being personable, answering questions thoroughly and making feel people feel comfortable. I received the opposite and am kind of disappointed. I honestly couldn't help but laugh in disbelief. Good luck to you, Powell House. You'll probably see me again for some of your white widow but would love a little more of a friendly visit next time. :)”

“I was very disappointed with my visit to Powell House, so much so I was pushed to finally get an account. For an industry that's trying to become legitimized, you'd think there'd be more of a professional attitude (not the typical stuffy office type... But employees not on their phones and inappropriately joking when customers are around, shouldn't be much to ask). Personal caring warmth and interest/knowledge of product, in addition to a somewhat professional attitude, is what makes people feel comfortable, welcomed and cared for... That's what I look for when seeking to medicate... but I felt uncomfortable, like I was a burden, and that I was just another sale. The manager and budtender were both very unprofessional and short, and though the product was decent, it was more expensive than lots of other locations. They're a business... And that's all they proved to care about....Themselves, their business, and their numbers. With the selection out there and what's available I find no reason to ever go back. apologies unnecessary. maybe just treat customers a bit better and offer them genuine, caring service so they can find decent product that really can help? Thanks.”

“1st store I visited as soon as it became recreational. The lady was new at the time and nice. Small place but it doesn't matter because they have a phenomenal selection! Grabbed some happy-go-lucky Cinex to go with some cheerful Durban Poison. Was very satisfied. Recreational seems slightly high-priced but the selection is great!”
“Overall experience was cool. Would've like to seen buds picked from jar instead of getting my buds in a pre-pack.
Also, very unsatisfied with Chernobyl, for industrial grower and price, I expected to taste buds that came from plants properly flushed before harvest. The fertilizer/ poop taste was not appealing.”
“I didn't like the stains suggested, but we were new to pot, so maybe they were suggesting lighter stains for us. the whole place seems cramped. maybe the new building next door will be an improvement! ”
