So sorry to read this. We have tried to stock a wide variety of products, with an emphasis on choices in types, potency and package sizes. We are always looking to improve and sometimes that path is not a straight line! Thanks again for taking the time to help us get better.
When we opened, we had four strains of flower and one choice in pre-roll. Today we have nearly 100 strains from which to choose and many pre-rolls from which to choose as well. Plus we have a wide variety of cookies, brownies, chocolates, capsules, drinks, mints, hard candy, even RSO. Our average price when we opened was over $30 per gram with all the taxes included. We now have six strains that are priced at $15 out the door for two gram packages. We are open to legitimate criticism and helpful suggestions but your review is neither of these.
“I really enjoy shopping at this little joint. The people that work here are always friendly and I love the edibles selection. Haven't bothered to go to the other place in Ellensburg, even though it's closer. And BTW...I really did see Jimi twice :-)”
“I'm tired of having to smoke old dry weed and they've gone up in price when the rest of the stores I go to are cutting prices. They have crappy growers. I either stop on the westside when I'm home if I have to or stock up at the other shop in town. They're cheaper and have fresh weed.”
We do not stock "old" weed. Our growers are outstanding. We have many strains that are priced at $7.50 per gram, in 2g packaging, including all taxes, and many more strains priced at $10 per gram, also including all taxes. I will stack up our variety, prices, quality against any store in the State. We most certainly have NOT raised our prices, quite the opposite in fact. I cannot find any basis in fact for your review at all in any way. I have to wonder who you are and who you may be trying to help with this misguided "review".
“The older product is fine. it can be dry but still smells delicious. They have the best prices in town and all you need to do is let it rehydrate and it's fresh again. There is so much stuff I've never heard of in the store, I find new stuff every time I go.
“What a rip off. I'm tired of buying expensive concentrates from here (nothing under $30 a half gram) that are crappy. I'm really disappointed in how expensive they still are. I figured once there was another store in Ellensburg that these guys would drop their prices. I cam get an amazing full gram of great wax at the other store for $30 that won't give me a sore throat.
I kept trying to find bud that was worth what they say but the least time I was there I spent $60 total and only left with 4 grams of bud (some was bargain stuff supposedly). There's way better deals in town and this used to be my spot. :-(
Obviously sorry to read this review. I'm wondering when you were in last? A bit hard to understand your comment that you paid $60 and only walked out with 4 grams. We have been at 2 g for $25 out the door forever now and this is our most expensive price point in the store. If you prefer the other store, that's fine. Its still much better than the Black Market. So thank you for supporting State licensed stores, even if its not ours. Rob Hendrix, owner
“This was the first dispensary I had ever been to until I went home to the west side for the holidays. After having visited a few of the dispensaries in the Seattle area I realized just how awesome cannabis central is. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly, and there is a wide range of price points. They have a super organized and easy to read menu so you can get exactly what you want. The owner, Rob, frequently works in the store and talks to all the customers. This dispensary is affordable, consistent, and welcoming.”
Happy New Year to you and yours! Thank you for taking the time to say such great things about our little shop. The employees are a daily Blessing for me and my wife. And we appreciate our customers tremendously.
“My husband and I just moved to Washington, and this place was on our way to Seattle. It's a great location especially if you are driving through snoqualmi pass.
I've never been much of weed consumer, however, after being on benzos for the past 10 years, I really wanted to give it a try, plus I was detoxing off opiods and benzos.
I really needed a strain that helped me sleep and mellow out my anxiety. The guy working there was incredibly helpful and very nice. I found exactly what I needed (a little pricey, but whatever, it's Ellensburg.)
That night, and the following 4 days (main withdrawal days) were very relaxing! I've detoxed several times and normally I'm clawing at the walls from the anxiety and skin clammyness. I had almost no withdrawal symptoms, which was great since it was also the week of my birthday and Christmas. I would shop here again, and plan to, next time I visit that side of the mountain. 10/10”
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such and outstanding review! WOW!! Brett is a kind and caring individual who loves helping all people. Its what drives him and he's very, very good at it! Thank you again and so glad to hear about your tremendous progress! Good for you. Happy New Year!!
“I stopped going here because the harvest days are really old on the cheaper price points. It smokes so fast and hot on my lungs and I keep getting sore throats. I liked the staff but it's not worth fighting for elbow room and having to make decisions so quickly I'm never quite satisfied. Dang it.”
Not sure when you were in the shop last but we have not had anything that could possibly be considered "old" for quite a long while. So I am at a loss as to just how to respond to your review. Insofar as the size of the shop, we are planning a move to a larger facility in the next 90 days, plus or minus a few. So come back to us, seek me out personally. Thank you for taking the time to send in a review. We learn much from those who are not pleased.
“This building should be used to house garden tools and nothing larger. With only my boyfriend and another friend with us, we could barely make ourselves comfortable in there. The guy and girl behind the little counter were yelling over us as other people came in like we were at a burger stand. They were not helpful or friendly but helped us choose an ounce for $120 which was a great deal (branded Life Garden). Until I got home and smoked it. It gave me the worst sore throat of my life and then I felt like I was fighting off getting sick for a few days. I looked at some of it under a microscope with our friend who's a bio major and it is covered in white powdery stuff that doesn't look like crystals. :-( It's really bad. We aren't going to this store anymore. This was definitely not the first time I've been unhappy but I kept trying. I'd rather go somewhere else where I know it's clean and real buds, or smoke nothing at all. They only seem to be concerned with cheap, crappy, dry, harsh, high profiting garbage bags. Ugh. Disappointed. ”
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Yes, the building is tiny, but we prefer to think of it as intimate and yes, even cute. And it does get loud at times, but that just adds to the party atmosphere. I know the ounce you are referring to. We thought it was a great buy as it could easily be used to make butter to in turn make edibles. The one comment that I am prepared to take issue with refers to our budtenders. In fact they are extremely personable, helpful and very knowledgeable. And further, they are honest in their opinions and/or recommendations. As for the quality of bud, it does vary, however the State's testing requirements are quite rigid and thorough so the presence of a "white powdery stuff" while not impossible is extremely unlikely. I am sorry you have chosen to "fire" us, but I respect your opinion and wish you luck in finding the store that matches your discerning taste and very high standards. Rob Hendrix, owner
