“Worst place in town Feds should shut this place down. Front desk lady looked like she was on meth. The male bud tender in the back trying to play a fake thug I'm from iner city detroit I don't need a person mean mugging me when I'm getting my meds this isn't a street deal so I walked out.
do not go here. Their are so many other places to go with nice people and great meds”
“I don't know, they kind of take themselves too seriously and the pricing is a little difficult to understand especially if you are medicated, which should be a consideration.
Glass jars for a gram are probably a waste of everybody's money though. Nice look, however but I'd rather pay less.
Speaking of which, a little pricey compared to the same flower down the street and also sold me shatter when I clearly is not for me as a medication when I explained that I vaporized flower to avoid irritating my throat, it should not have been suggested to me that I buy the wax or shatter or whatever they called it for $30. They didn't really explain to me how I should consume it and I couldn't really use it in my Volcano so that was kind of a bum sale. Otherwise, good meds, thanks for being out there and braving the feds and stuff. Good meds just a few gripes like the ones above. I feel if you are donating $12 a gram, you are allowed to gripe.”
“Pleasant, empathetic, professional membership application experience. With high expectations the bid tender on duty was more than able to see right through my needs and pleased me the first time twice. Clearly knowledgeable staff with all that it takes to be the best in town.
“I read some of the reviews on this thing and it seems to me that some of these folks have never stepped foot in the place. Emerald City has one owner and he is great. He really cares about the patients and is always willing to listen to suggestions and try to make a difference in the lives of everyone who comes through the door. The Bud Tenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. The whole staff went up to Portland last month to the Cannabis Therapeutics Convention to increase their knowledge and provide better information to the patients. I heard they were even pointed out at the convention as an example of a dispensary "doing it right." It is great that someone from Eugene can get that kind of recognition at a convention attended by people from all over the world. Now that I think about it, that may have been the Thursday DutchVermeer was referring to. There were signs posted about why they were closed. I know because I was one of those who forgot about the convention and showed up on the Friday they were gone. Then I saw the notice right there next to the Closed sign and I remembered I had been told about the closure. Maybe you should give the folks at Emerald City another chance DutchVermeer - you may have made the same mistake I did. Emerald City has great reimbursement rates and great meds. I love the gluten free brownies and the variety of flower is amazing. I also love the fact that Emerald City supports local growers and local glass artists. Everything is tested and the potency is posted on the menu board and the individual labels. I know that not every dispensary posts the potency levels of their meds or will show you the testing results if you ask to see them. I really feel valued and validated by the staff at Emerald City. I know this may be a bit long, but I really hate to see a great place like Emerald City get reviews that are obviously without merit. Emerald City is my favorite dispensary and only the only one I trust to treat me with care and respect. I have recommended Emerald City to all my friends and will continue to do so.”
