Green2Go Reviews

  • “Always good product, Service always good. Leafly Website not always up to date on prices. First time at new location, novel, sort of weird it will take a few times to get used to the store front waiting room, med room set up, nice to be able to inspect products. Delivery alway great, on time and no bs....”

Thanks for showing up! We were glad you stopped by. Just so others know, it is still medical only, not recreational.

  • “I've been using Green2Go for quite a while now and I have always been impressed with their professionalism. They are by far the best dispensary I have used and the products and packaging still impress me. I am always asked to have my paperwork and ID just like at a liquor store. The staff is always friendly and more than happy to answer my questions and help with my medication selection. I was disappointed to see that the tax hike went into effect (something we all knew was coming) but even more disappointed to see all the ignorant reviews left here on their Leafly site about their "high prices." To my understanding, all of the extra money I am now paying for the same product is not going to the dispensary, it's going to Uncle Sam. Furthermore, I was very surprised to see that none of the other delivery dispensaries bothered to enact this tax hike. Dispensaries that have copies of my ID and MMJ card. That's my picture, address, phone number, birth date, order history, etc. So why would I do business with a company that has decided to blatantly disregard the LAW and not pay their taxes? And when they get audited for not paying their taxes, and my name pops up as having ordered after the date the hike went into effect, and didn't pay the tax, who's to say I won't be held accountable for not paying a tax I knew was due? You know who else doesn't pay taxes for selling drugs? The guy on the corner with the dime bags. We've all worked really hard to legalize cannabis and we knew this wouldn't be an easy road. I'm going to continue to support the company that has the backbone to follow all of the correct channels so that they can remain open and available long after all of the other guys have shut down. Do your research people, or by the time we finally get insurance to cover our medication, the only option left will be the big pharmaceutical corporations.”

  • “Additionally, complaining about tax hikes which did not effect other dispensaries transient values of product just shows they are immature business owners who were taking advantage of an overtly lucrative market opportunity and weren't willing to relinquish the opportunity.”

Paying these ridiculous taxes while strongly advocating for political action to remove said tax shows the maturity of our leadership. This is not a "lucrative market opportunity." Collecting this tax is devastating to our business. The extra money being collected is going straight the Department of Revenue. We know that following these laws will show our patients we are a LEGAL business, not black market street dealers with access to fancy advertising.

  • “I do agree ,prices are too high...instead of raising prices they should have ate the tax hike...I used to due 300.00 a month at least with them...no more. ”

It's a complicated picture, with most of 5052 not actually being in effect until July, 2016. The opt out comes in the form of a registry, which doesn't currently exist, until July 2016. We entirely disagree with the DOR's stance of taxing now, and perhaps our CPA and the various patient lobbying groups will win our current petition to negate this excise tax until 2016 (we are fighting it)- however - if they don't and we havent been collecting, the impact to everyone who works at g2g would be catastrophic. Everyone at g2g wants to revert to our old pricing model. If in the future the State decides we don't need to pay the excise tax, and that is retroactive, we'll certainly be kicking back.

  • “Got to admit it's the best quality bud but I'm not paying after they raised prices. I can get the same quality at other dispensaries. ”

The simple fact is that most dispensaries in this area don't report to the Washington State Department of Revenue. Green2Go does. The WA DOR is forcing this. Call them and ask, and inform yourself beyond "other dispensary owners" perceptions. Should G2G just eat the 37 percent bill from them and close? Remember G2G prices reflect tax included, just in case you're thinking they add even more at the register.

The new prices reflect the 37% tax that is now required under Washington State law after the passage of HB 2136. We are also unhappy about the price increase, but we must comply with the law to avoid being forced to close. We encourage all of our patients to contact their State Representatives to tell them how this new law is negatively affecting access for medical patients.

  • “Wow. These guys have class. Here's the only delivery service in the Tri-Cities with the integrity to do the right thing, no matter what. I hear people complaining that G2G "raised their prices," when in fact, all they're doing is charging the tax required by the State of Washington. I've been to a few Benton County, Richland, and West Richland counsel meetings that discussed marijuana in our community, and at every one, G2G reps were there, speaking for their patients. No other delivery services were present. It's obvious they're far more in touch with the community AND political process than any other service in the TC area. Bravo Green2Go. You are, and forever will be, my Go 2 place for Green. #g2g4life”

We price our products as competitively as we can and are proud to offer high-quality meds. We are doing our best to advocate for our patients and encourage everyone to contact their State Representatives to tell them you oppose HB 2136, which has forced us to implement a 37% tax at this time. We must operate within the law or we will face closure, in which case we would no longer be able to service any of our patients. We understand your frustration and we’re frustrated, too!
