  • “I visited this shop with my parents from out of town, some baby-boomer generation ex-hippies who have never bought legal weed before. They had a good selection of concentrates, flowers, and oil, but their edible section was especially impressive. They also had these cool pot vending machines I had never seen before. The shop look fantastic, with wood accents and industrial lighting, and a gift shop next door (that didn't seem to get much traffic.) The staff was helpful and patient with my folks many questions, and were a particularly attractive staff.”

  • “This hasn't been my first time visiting Herban Legends, but it will be my last. I live in Belltown, shop regularly, and even some of the budtenders know my name. Yet there are some staff whom I never talk to, because they seem stiff and unfriendly. I wait for my favorites like A or K. While K was busy, I listened to a male budtender hurry through a group of customers questions with rude, blunt, uninformative answers while staring off into the space above their heads. The group exchanged glances with confusion, and ended up just buying whatever he suggested. I get that "the budtender knows best", but what happened to the friendly customer service at this establishment? The budtenders used to smile, and answer every question with understanding that not everyone is from Seattle, or the Washington area. The budtenders have no patience, and it seems like Herban Legends can't keep their managers either. I've seen the staff change, and the managers cycle every couple of weeks, and they have only been open since the beginning of May. I really hope this place can turn it back around. The energy the first couple of months was phenomenal, and I'm looking for that daily pick-me-up-attitudes I used to get from staff. I used to come here for the staff, because there is cheaper weed in the area. I'll check back in a month or two, hopefully Herban can get their mojo back. Would not recommend to a friend. Would not shop here again.”

  • “Where to start....went in on a Saturday (july30) for a couple dank prerolls for a show that night. Parking was easy (plus), waited in line before being let in because they were busy at max capacity-ok I that's cool. Get inside and there were maybe MAYBE 6/7 staff "on the floor". And maybe 20 people browsing, buying, choosing etc. We took a quick walk around to see what's product/brands etc were what and where. Locate dab corner- totally emty of staff.. Move to prerolls corner just as a staff moved to dabs... Kinda... More like he just did something of some nature oblivious to the people just waiting there. Finally get to the preroll counter! The was one staff helping one couple and we waited our turn. Waitin I overhear a customer ask what's hybrid, indica, etc.. Staff response "well they are basically all hybrid anyways but this is...etc" (red Flag) as annoying as the question may be, that is not an informative answer. Anyways, OUR TURN! Yay! I look around the case kinda lost before staff hands me menu. I start with my usual, what prerolls do you have that are 100% flower, I don't like the shake and trim prerolls. Staff rolled their eyes at me and very rudely pointed at a brand in a fancy plastic tube saying that one was her favorite- yes all flower. I wish I remembered what one it was... I didn't see 100%flower on the package so I also got a double pack grape ape that I knew was a solid. Staff rolled their eyes again (I'm about be snotty back cuz oh no they didn't!!;)) rang us up and sent us on our way. We talked about how rude staff was the whole walk back to the car- noting to review the store cause I'm really normal and really nice and work in service industry. Fake it at work. I've never. (Hah) Fast forward staff favorite was a $11 dud. The double pack $12 grape ape were the best prerolls I've ever smoked. Won't be back but hope you guys can train your staff better. God knows how hard it is to find good help. The struggle is real. Thanks for the great grape apie rollies doe!”
