“I've heard about and now experienced the issue of online orders ending up "short" a gram. Exactly a gram. Got home and found out that I was also a gram short. They BS'd and said they weighed it at 6gs, but I got 5gs instead. No offer of credit or apologies - honest business gone sour.”
Hey there, WulfHunter. We are sorry to hear this. We use professional-grade scales in our dispensary that are calibrated at least every 6 months. Our staff presses a button on the scales to input the weighed amount into the POS software; this eliminates any incorrect weights being entered. Unfortunately, assuming a home scale had been used, without any concrete proof we are unable to provide a credit. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please contact a manager at (928) 774-5467.
“They have some fire strains, but they are definitely the most expensive place I've been to in the state. Most of their budtenders are friendly and knowledgeable. Their Girl Scout Cookies is actually a cut of Flo which is fine if you're looking for a sativa hybrid. I love the Louis XIII and Bruce Banner.”
“Quality has gone way down hill. Used to be a nice place with some decent product, but honestly I can't speak highly of this place one bit. Some of the quality was good, but come to find out some of the strains grown by HMH have had mold. This place claims to test their meds, but nowhere can you retrieve that data. Also, it is the most expensive place in Arizona to get your meds, and there are quite a few places where you can get much better quality, at a much better price. A note to the rookies, examine your meds, you may find some interesting surprises.”
Hi there, RealTalk42O! We are sorry you feel this way. Would you be able to provide us with any examples of strains that you have found mold on? We take our patient's health very seriously and would never purposely release a strain that contains mold. However, sometimes mold happens; it could be the way it's stored – what kind of container are you using? We would love to get to the bottom of this. As for test results, we have test results available in the dispensary – simply ask your patient services representative and we would be happy to provide! Feel free to call us as well, and we can easily let you know over the phone. Again, we are very sorry you're feeling this way; any other questions, comments, concerns? Give us a call and we would be glad to set things right – (928) 774-5467. Take care!
“I visited for the first time yesterday and was very pleased with the friendly, helpful staff and wonderful selection of buds. I live in a small rural town with only 1 dispensary that is sometimes out of stock of the particular items I need to manage my chronic illness. I believe everyone should maintain a relationship with a spare dispensary to insure an uninterrupted supply of medicine. Thank You.”
Spasticnoodle, thank you so much for the kind words. We are glad you had a wonderful first visit at High Mountain Health. If you ever have any questions before you drive out here, feel free to give us a call – (928) 774-5467! Welcome to a higher quality of health. <3
“I would normally give a great review because the service is great, quality of meds are coming back up slowly and the wait was limited... however I will never drive an hour away again for your Shatterday special- you charge more in flower against the state total than anyone in the state - by a lot! For example: I purchased 1 g of keif- and was charged 8.1 or something close in state total for 1 g of Keif. Supposedly the state requires this, yet HMH is the ONLY one that I have come across ... and I travel a lot and visit dispensaries all over the state.”
Hi there, tigerstripz22! Effective immediately, the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) requires medical marijuana dispensaries to use quantities reflective of the "amount of medical marijuana [meaning plant material] infused" in edibles and concentrates on product labeling (as per Rule R9-17-316). AZDHS further requires that this "amount of medical marijuana [plant material]" be used when recording concentrate and edible purchases on patients' state allotment, rather than the actual amount of concentrate. For example, if eight (8) grams of flower were used to make one (1) gram of concentrate, then 8 grams will be deducted from the allotment. This amount will vary from one cannabis product provider to another, depending on extraction method employed. Each medical patient in the state of Arizona is allotted 2.5 ounces of cannabis every two weeks. Detailed information on the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act can be found at: http://www.azdhs.gov/licensing/medical-marijuana/index.php#rules-statutes.
“Great product but their customer service leaves something to be desired. They changed their reward point system at the new year without telling patients. Then, they "lost" everyone's points at the new year and six months later still "can't find them". Don't trust their point reward system or anything they tell you about their point reward system and focus on their product and you will be fine.”
Hey there, lukeinmexico! At the beginning of the year we released our monthly newsletter with a notice that the patient reward system would be changing — http://eepurl.com/ctRFN9 (copy & paste). If you never received that, we apologize. The cannabis industry is a bit tricky to advertise, so we couldn't really post much about it on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter either and again, our apologies. We've tried to make it simple to gain additional points, without spending additional money; check in at High Mountain Health on Facebook and receive 10 points! Spend $40 or more on Fridays to spin the wheel – the wheel contains spaces for free points! Double your points every Tuesday and Thursday! Earn up to 700 additional points every Monday on edibles purchases! Bring your flower containers back, or bring your own, reuse them and receive 5 points per container! Refer new patients to HMH for 420 points on your account! To address patient reward points being lost: this was due to a system-wide crash of MJ Freeway, our point-of-sale software; we were not the only dispensary to be affected, it was nation-wide. Unfortunately, this is something completely out of our control, thought we do apologize and we have been working hard to reinstate points on patients' accounts accurately. Feel free to contact MJ Freeway and let them know how this situation makes you feel. If you have an idea of how many points may be missing from your account or would like to discuss anything else, please feel free to contact our store manager, Carrie – 928.774.5467.
Hey Mpyama, don't let the CBD aspect fool you – yes, ACDC is an extremely high-CBD and medicinal strain; however, if you haven't tried the Critical Mass CBD, you may like it! At 10.4% CBD and 6.4% THC (almost 2 CBD : 1 THC), it could be a great any time strain. The Indica aspects of it would provide excellent pain relief in tandem with the higher CBD, along with a lower THC to encourage the entourage effect yet not become overwhelming. Let us know if you'd like to try some Critical Mass CBD – keep an eye out for more Harlequin coming in the future (currently out of stock), a true 2 CBD : 1 THC strain, even better as an energizing, focused, and pain relieving day time strain!
Hi Greenthumbz, the $10 gram changes every day; please check our website and here on Leafly to see what it is! For example, today is a great sativa strain, Strawberry Amnesia! ACDC is the only CBD strain we have that is truly CBD, testing at approximately 24% CBD, 1% THC. Harlequin is a 2 CBD : 1 THC strain, at about 11-14% CBD and 6-7% THC. It is a great daytime strain because the 2:1 ratio synergizes and amplifies their medicinal effects in the body, keeping the head clear, and the pain down. Try some!
