I've been to several dispensaries and the listed prices are the rec user with patients not having to pay the 25% tax. They offered 10% off so I guess I'm a little confused. If anyone can explain this I would be grateful.”
We appreciate the kind numbers on the review as your concern would indicate much lower than 4's...But I do feel the need to correct you. The tax rate is 20% and we absolutely DO NOT charge tax to medical patients. Now, we occasionally subsidize some products on both med and rec at less than 20%, but those are one off items and we choose for various reasons to do this. We welcome all reviews good and bad but your information is not accurate.
“Usually have a great visit, but today was different, the budtender seemed disinterested, asked to see buds, and I'm not sure if he didn't hear or didn't want to help. Didn't seem to eager to help with my selection of oils, and didn't check em before hand. Came home and 1 of the 2 Cascade BHO I bought was just extremely melted and couldn't scrape it all off. This is the first time this has happened but it peeved my off that I paid 50 bucks for a gram of bho and only was able to scrape off less than half. if the other one is similar, might rethink my future transactions. ”
This is John, Owner of Kaleafa. (one of the 3 owners). My staff reached out today to discuss your concerns and asked that I reach back out to you as they valued you as a customer. I am not sure exactly what happened and its unusual to hear back months later but clearly your experience is not acceptable with my staff or myself. I expect all customers to be treated like family and I have recognized we need a slight re-org of our staff in Beaverton to "weed" out folks on our team that don't value the customer experience. With that said, we are making subtle changes to ensure things like these don't happen. As for your shatter that would not peel, we are one of the few dispensaries that take returns so if you had brought the product back we could have worked with you on finding a solution. Once its packaged, we have no way of knowing if the shatter sugars up or gets super terpy (sticky) so we are open to taking returns. If you are willing to come back to the shop, call me ahead of time and we can discuss how we can make this up to you.. Moreover, you can have access to my cell so if you receive any poor service in the future, you can reach out to me asap so I can address. Its tough not always being on site (as I handle all of the purchasing) so I hear about these things as they are brought up. Moreover, I did just put into the shop a bunch of nice BHO (priced really good) if you are still open to coming back in. Make sure you mention to my bud tender that we talked and reference this email to ensure you get a discount. Maybe print off if you can.
