Appreciate the honesty. I can say with certainty that we try to price everything with the customer, and his/her budget, in line with most shops if not cheaper. We will have one off products that may be more or less expensive but I really do use the same pricing model for all products. You will find that we subsidize some things on both the OMMP and OLCC side so if it appears we are charging more than the tax rate verse med or rec pricing, but that is not the case. Moreover, the testing regulations have really cramped the supply side of edibles and oils. I grew up in East County, I understand the patient base better than most since its my crowd, so please be open to understanding what we are up against when it comes to pricing and I truly believe we have the best "Value" in portland top to bottom.
“I have been to numerous dispensaries in the surrounding area; always looking for the best deal of the day and good quality. Some places have decent flower and a selection of other items but, Kaleafa tops the list!
They have a rewards program that accrues automatically for you so you do not have to remind the budtender. They always thank me for my prior military service and treat everyone equally important. The staff is always smiling, knowledgeable, informative and never hurried.
This brings me to my last visit to Kaleafa a few days ago. A gentleman by the name of Tyler assisted me. He was by far the most friendly and helpful budtender I have had the opportunity to meet. He obviously knows his product and helped my choose my items with confidence.
The products are important! I am very picky about what I spend my money on and being a consumer, I feel that I deserve good customer service as with anyone else. Kaleafa and Tyler both have exceeded my expectations. Up until now, I have always made my journeys to the best deals. I will no longer be looking; I have found my pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow. It is located @ 5232 SE Woodstock.

“This is my favorite dispensary in SE Portland. I came into town not too long ago and the staff have always been nothing but friendly and helpful from the moment I walk in the front door to the moment I shut it on the way out. On top of the great service, the building is a little old house cleverly converted, and it really does have a homey feel to it. The cannabis is incredible... My first visit I purchased two prerolls, and both had such sticky bud in them I couldn't even smoke either joint all the way down because of the oil(not resin) sapping up in the tip (heart eyes emoji would go well here). And with quality eighths like Jack Herer starting at $24 out-the-door, I'll definitely be making this my regular spot, rain or shine <3”

Budtender didn't know his pricing and made zero recommendations after "i am looking for oil that is on the fruity terp side." he points to the display. 30 seconds later another budtender snatches the display away. "oh were you using that?" yes. Yes I was. Needless to say, I bought no oil.

We recognize the shop wait times and staff training is an on going process. We carry over 70 shatter strains and it is somewhat unrealistic to expect all 30 employees to sample each shatter. We are discussing better ways to display High Terp BHO but the concept is very new to the market place in regards to even testing for such item..I apologize for your bad experience but rest assured, we listen and will do what we can to improve things.
