“After i was thinking about Karuna NOT doing mail orders to its loyal members who cant get to a Dispensary that's their decision they have to do whats good for their business i get it,But they could have given Mail Order members so much time to place a LAST order and find another source for their medicine,Not just tell the member Sorry we do NOT do mail orders any longer, wheres the Compassion in that, Just like when my Drug store closed they sent ALL Patients a letter given them time to find New Pharmacist.or they would recommend 1 if asked just NOT kicked in the Ditch to the Wolves we are after all patients,We Deserve Better then that,So you Patients put Out Email me ill do my BEST to HELP You the Patient
Karuna does not endorse this person and has no idea who they are. Mail orders is illegal and this person does so at their own risk. This post will be deleted as it condones illegal activity. Sorry we stopped our mail order but it was for good reason.
“I feel that there overall bud quality is middle of the road. Alot of the stuff has been there for ever, and I have seen some off coloured bottom off the bag type stuff in the display jars. They do have some stand outs which is why I say middle of the road over all. I find that the service is good but could be better. They need to work on there selection of extracts, and hashes. Not just these guys but I would like to see more testing as a whole from the industry.
“Quality bud, good budtenders (mostly), reasonable prices. The place is really missing Jim though. He was the friendliest employee there, although the girls and owner that still work here are very nice. The new manager could be friendlier/more informative/less stingy - does not even compensate for stem when weighing! ”
“I love that they are open 7 days a week firstly!!! Everyone I have met is knoweldgable and courteous! The strains are great and they have a very varied selection and have no problem letting you check it out before making a decision! I think they are a great place to support and get your medicine from!”
“This place is the best!
Friendly staff , expert opinions, large variety products, many potent strains. I would recommend everyone to come check this place out, I was greeted and welcomed inside guided and treated extremely well. I left excited to go back for more.”
“i felt like i was buying medicine not drugs, no shadyness at all that you would find with a few other dispensaries in the area. the quality of the medicine was great too, i got exactly what i paid for. the blue god was amazing just as suggested. the customer service is also off the charts, the guy running karuna was enthusiastic and excited to help me. overall i am extremely pleased.”
“So I tried each of their indica strains which they claimed to be very potent and produced the effects of a true "indica", and ....
The indicas smelled like soil, while burning black ash. The buds were dark, and I don't mean green. More towards the brown side. The medicine is not fresh. It gave me a paranoid and less sedative feeling than a true indica should because they're hybrid with sativas to the max. This is so they can produce a lot of that garbage bud thus lowering the cost of how much they buy it.
I smoke real indoor kush strains, along with other indicas. The real skunky danky dense, well cured, with a great nose to them.
All of the guys are nice, but think just because they know about terpenes and all that other scientific stuff, will convince a long time smoker like myself, that they get great medicine. It's honestly worse than any medicine I've grabbed from any dispensary. I would not lie”
Hi there, this review concerns us greatly as it is stand alone in that we have not yet received any similar comments from any other members like this, and it paints all of our indica strains as badly grown, unhealthy cannabis.
First, we really want the chance to meet with you and see how we can better meet your needs, and get specific information about what strains your review are pertaining to.
Second, we have many members who are long time medical cannabis patients, who have primarily used smoking as their chosen method of taking cannabinoids etc into the body, and use our heavier indica strains for their medical needs, mostly for the relief of constant chronic pain. So far not one of them has shared your experience with our strains, and, indeed, they come back for these indicas again and again to maintain a much improved quality of life.
When you say that all of our indica strains "smelled like soil, while burning black ash. The buds were dark, and I don't mean green. More towards the brown side. The medicine is not fresh. It gave me a paranoid and less sedative feeling than a true indica should because they're hybrid with sativas to the max.", this is a very broad statement to make, including approx. 8 or more strains. Having tested them all I can assure you this was not my experience. If it was we would not have put them on the shelves for our members.
It must also be noted that our heavier indicas are not sativa hybrids. Strains like Bubba Kush, and Master Kush x Bubba Kush are certainly not sativa hybrids. Nor is F*ing Incredible x Bubba Kush.
As well, your review seems to imply that the strains are all produced by the same grower. Not so. So the idea that we "can produce a lot of that garbage bud thus lowering the cost of how much they buy it" is simply not true.
All in all we are Happy to Help you select better strains for your condition, and invite you to please meet with us and at least give us a chance to correct this highly unusual situation.
And we thank you for your honest review, and for the great compliment about our staff and their great compassion and knowledge. They are experienced medical patients themselves and would never provide unsafe or improperly grown cannabis to our members.
So drop us a line and lets fix this :)
Peace and Healing to you
Hey sara.oops421, nice to hear from you!
So the Phoenix Tears are generally mostly THC with very little CBD, varying in amount depending on the particular strain of cannabis used in the production of the oil.
The oil we have right now is a kush variety, however, in times past we had another producer of Golden Phoenix Tears Hash Oil who used strains like Hempstar and Purple Kush. We had a sample tested out of one of the batches and it hit for 5.7% CBD. Off the charts as far as we were concerned, but even then the oil would vary in its CBD content depending on what strains were available at the time.
I know making oil from Haley's Comet has produced nearly a 50-50 split on THC and CBD, but we don't have any available currently from that strain.
Thanks for the question and look forward to more :)
