“Of all of the dispensaries I regularly visit when I travel to states where Cannabis is legal to purchase recreationally, this is the one place I will never miss when I am in Denver, Colorado. To a large degree, you can ignore independent strains if you know this is where they came from. I've smoked their Mob Boss, Strawberry Cough, Bruce Banner #3, Brain OG, Jesus OG, and their OG Kush, which was recommended to me by a bud tender at another dispensary to try here. I met the owner once and I know he makes some of the best traditional, cold water hash in the business. They now off deals when you arrive at the shop earlier during the day, including concentrates for $30 or so a gram. My instructions to my wife is if I die prematurely, make sure to bury me with an ounce of Girl Scout Cookies from L'Eagle. Keep up the awesome work guys and see you soon. @Newmunchies”
“I know I know. 5 stars? Really? Yes. They rock that hard. Go see for yourself. Shout out to Justin! He could never be a politician because everything he said was true. And you can't beat the Friday special. ”
“I've been coming here for a few years now, and can say: this place is great! My favorite dispensary. Staff are friendly and helpful. L'eagle seems to be highly conscious. They grow organic flower. The flower is some of the best I've had from dispensaries in Denver. Also hash.
I'm a long-time head, and can tell. The flower is cured properly. Burns clean. Tastes great. They have had some good quality genetics on rotation that will please anyone. Although, I am dissapointed to say that their menu has remained relatively the same over the past two years I've been going, and would love to see different, lesser known (craft cannabis?) genetics.
They also have a nice selection of edibles that are made from L'eagle's in-house flower. The option to get organic flower for edibles is awesome. The only downside is that their edible prices are not on par with other dispensaries.
Bottomline: Visit L'eagle. Try the flower, try to hash.”
Thanks so much for your extensive feedback! We'd like to answer a couple of your critiques. As far as edibles, our prices for the lines we carry should be right on par with other stores, but what you probably aren't seeing at L'Eagle are lower-end options that might be elsewhere. We definitely have high standards for what we choose to carry. As far as strain selection, we generally carry up to 35 strains, so we try to offer variety. The reason you don't see a lot of new strains rotating in is that our grow focuses on consistently producing the best quality of what we do offer, but more importantly, introducing new plants in the grow risks introducing pests into an environment where no synthetic pesticides are ever used. NOTE: Ask what's on the Captain's List to see strains that may not be in the glass jars!
“Fantastic service, the staff here were very friendly and knowledgeable. In my experience they are also very timely as I didn't spend any time in the waiting room. They have a decent selection of buds and they let you smell them and look at them under a magnified light. Overall I was very pleased with the service there and will return again while in Denver.”
“I've been going here for about 7 months. Nice rotating selection. The extra time and effort that L'Eagle puts into their product is easy to see. The proper dry translates into more flower for the weight than I have seen with many other dispensaries, and the long curing of organically grown buds makes for some of the consistently smoothest smoking flower I have ever had. One critique I have is that while the flower smells GREAT, strains from L'Eagle lack flavor, in my opinion, often just having a general burnt taste (but still so smooth). The selection of Concentrates is always killer, too.”
We appreciate the in-depth feedback in your review! As far as your critique, not sure if you've tried smoking on a PAX (herbal vaporizer), but we always suggest this smoking method for the best flavors. Finally, If you don't use a PAX or don't want to get one, , we suggest using a Hempwick instead of a lighter. You can also always ask your budtender, as we do keep buds on hand that haven't been cured as long that may have more flavor for open-flame smokers. Thanks!
