“LHC attracted me because I was looking for two particular strains and their Leafly menu showed they carried both (and at good prices). One strain was out when I got there, which happens.
The shop is easy to spot and on a major street, and ID checking is quick. The sales room is narrow and too dark. It was hard to see the samples clearly.
Unfortunately, the budtender I shopped with didn't know very much about the strains. In fact, he misinformed me -- he said one strain I bough would send me into couch lock, when it's actually know for being relaxing to the body but energetic mentally and socially. Like the woman on the front door, he was nice and everything, but he didn't know his products.
The quality of the flower was good, the prices (for my strains, anyway) were decent, the location is easy to find, and I likely will be back -- but I won't rely on much besides the knowledge I bring with me.”
“It's a bit of a walk for me, but very worth it even with the cold. When I got there there was a line out the door, but it moved very quickly. There was a lot of space in the waiting area, and when I got into the actual store part it was very spacious. Even in the midst of a huge rush, the guy who helped me(he had blonde hair) was very nice and kept his cool. I have anxiety so that was a pretty big deal to me. All in all it was a speedy, relaxing and positive experience, and the flower is amazing. Thanks!”
“This has been one of my favorites until recently. While most of the staff is great there are a few who are just not. Just because I'm buying weed doesn't mean I don't expect good customer service. It's mainly the female staff, one in particular who is just very rude. I'm going to give them another try today, even though I said I wouldn't go in there again, because they have decent prices and good product.”
“Today 1/7/17, Portland Oregon conditions aren't the greatest to be driving out. Winter storm hit us and the roads are icy, snowing and temps are 20 degrees. But that did not stop people from hitting up Local Herb to pick up their medical and recreational marijuana. Local herb employees are amazing, they have carisma and know how to treat you right. Their herbal collection and prices are amazing. Highly recommend. I've been going there for like almost 3yrs and counting.”
“These guys are great - I've never been disappointed with whatever I end up walking out with in hand and the place has a nice relaxed atmosphere accompanied by knowledgeable staff. Plus there's almost always something available here that's either a good deal, great quality, &/or unique. I'll definitely be back :)”
“I had been shopping here for three years and agree with the other postings that say this place has gone downhill. The staff used to be really cool and knowledgeable, but the staff there today seemed neither. I understand they do not move medical customers to the front of the line like many dispensaries do, and I don't mind that much unless the staff is slow and when I get to the front they don't have what was listed on their Leafly menu. What has driven me to leave a poor review is the guy with the ponytail overcharged me again. Today I was charged $20 more than what their menu on Leafly says it should have been. This is not the first time this guy has done this, and one of the women working last month did the same. The bait and switch tactic of not having what is listed but offering a higher shelf item in place of it is bad enough, but the regular overcharging is unacceptable to me. I will not be returning.”
“been coming to this location for about 3 years now. I've always recommended them is my top spot in Oregon, but ever since it went Rec they seem to have lost their touch. the quality of the Cannabis is still good but they seem to charge whatever they want for it. it'll save price online and then they'll still tack on $30 to that for a half. the only explanation of give you is that Leafly must be wrong but yet when you believe they don't correct the price on Leafly. so does that mean they just get to decide what they charge you when you get up to the register? not very professional. they need to get their s*** together if they expect customers to come back. and on the final note hire some staff that actually knows what they're talking about and is a little bit of polite customer service too much to ask?”
