  • “quality of the bud is standard and typical. nothing here to really blow your mind. like coke and pepsi at the same store. its pop. dont ask the budtenders what they recommend cause they dont know. they dont understand the science and affects and cannot match a strain with an ailment or even experience to save their jobs. even worst, the weed you get is not always what you see in the case. makes me wonder what they do in the back room...”

  • “Take it from me, they do not care about the quality of the products they sell and the prices have apparently nothing to do with quality?? I ordered an eigth of Alice in Wonderland flower from CannaSol Farms at Main street for $40+ expecting the quality of the flower to match the price. WRONG! Of 150+ strains over the last 2 years that I've had, this was the DRYEST weed I have ever purchased. Dryer than outdoor stuff. I got this as a gift for my girlfriend because Alice in Wonderland is her favorite movie. It is so dry it crumbles in your hand like dead crispy leaves. No grinder required...? This is a joke.”

  • “If you love Walmart you should ship here! Don't be cheap. Done give these guys your hard earned cash. Really low end bud and concentrates in this store. Been twice and both times dropped a hundreds bucks on assorted products. All very leafy and dry. Customer service wasn't very good either. I actually had a tender tell me she didn't smoke weed!”

  • “A warning to fellow consumers. If you are buying shatter from your local dispensary do yourself(And your Dispensary), a favor and stay away from any shatter produced by Grow State(The label on the package says Altered State Concentrate). They use plastic screw top Carafes with no parchment on the bottom, just straight into the plastic. I was in my local shop the other day looking for some quality shatter and was recommended the Old Man Jack from Grow State, the man at the counter next to me, told me straight up to avoid it as it came in plastic containers, but I decided to take my chances, and guess what? Not only was he right(It was in plastic screw top containers) but I got burned for $60 as one of the containers was glued shut by the shatter that was melted all in the threads, and would not even open. And the other, I got about half of the product from leaving the rest stuck to the inside of the container. I contacted Grow state and pointed out the issue, and included clear pictures of the problem. Thomas the sales guy actually seemed concerned and tried to see if something could be done, but then the owner of the company Kip called me back and was more interested in making excuses for why they use plastic instead of Glass, or Silicone. The reason given for not using silicone was the cost(.75 per container) Kip said I should go ahead and heat up the plastic(thereby releasing the toxic chemicals from the plastic into my product even at low temps.) When I told him as an Environmental Specialist I didn't think that was great advice to be giving people since even non heated plastic is known to leach dangerous chemicals, you probably shouldn't be heating it up to get your product out(He blamed my shop for not handling it right on there end and keeping it cool). I then called my local dispensary, and explained my problem. They said Kip had already called them to inquire about the situation, and they were aware and sympathetic to my problem. I petitioned that either they A) Stop Selling Grow State Products until they(Grow State) clean up there act, and package responsibly. B) Open the outside packaging of Grow States Products so that consumers can clearly see and feel if the containers are plastic. C) Have each of there bud tenders let the customer know that they have had problems with Grow State Shatter containers and they should be weary of buying them. One of the major advantages of legalization is that we are supposed to be getting a PREMIUM, SAFE, product. Plastic containers that stick to the product and leach toxic chemicals into your product(Specially if you have to heat it to get the product out) do not meet that standard. If a company cannot be bothered to spend an extra .75 cents(Which by the way would be passed on to us anyway) so we would pay $31 instead f $30, or spend $.01 for a disk of parchment to make there expensive product usable. Then you should avoid that company, as it calls into question there standards and practices regarding there most important asset, the consumer.”

  • “I asked for a recommendation for something "giggly" and what they recommended felt like a 10 ton weight on my shoulders. Not a giggle to be had. Check their inventory and pick your strain before you go in. Their recommendations are worthless.”

  • “For as many times as my husband and I have shopped here, you'd think the staff would be nicer. Asking a question and being met with "I don't know dude, I don't smoke." Is ridiculous. Why do you work here? Why don't you ask someone? We don't even live in Vancouver and we drive 30mi one way for the prices. There's lots of people who need jobs; get better bud tenders. Probably will stop sending our friends here.”

  • “Fast, friendly, and knowledgeable service. Dispensary was busy, but we never felt neglected and the staff took time to answer our questions. It would have been nice to see/smell the product, but we were not disappointed with our purchases!”

  • “Went to Main Street MJ a couple times last month, I have tried bud from about 5 different growers that supply Main Street. ALL of them (except one) were leafy, dry, grass tasting/smelling, and sparked when taking a hit, (indicating they were not properly cured). Aside from that, the "bud tenders" i talked to knew very little about cannabis. I asked one of them for a strain similar to a specific sativa i was looking for, and they recommended an indica that was the complete opposite. And to top it all off, you can't look at any of the bud before you buy it! AVOID this place at all costs, they are just trying to push as much junk weed as they can.”

  • “This place sold me moldy hash. An inconvenience but honestly not a big deal. What made me irritated was when I took it back and they refused to refund, exchange, or accommodate me in any way. Their website says the supplier can be contacted but does not list the information for the supplier of the moldy hash. When I sent a respectful e-mail inquiring about contact info for the supplier they did not respond. I will never be going back to this place. Any reputable dealer would have had the integrity to take back a clearly unusable product. This place hides behind the WA state law that says "no refunds" even though it sold me a worthless, unusable product in the first place. The responsibility should be on them to supply mold-free cannabis. If the product came "as advertised" I would never have tried to return it but it is not safe to use. The staff had found out about the moldy hash and taken it off the shelves but still had no plans to make it up to people it was sold to. The reality is they don't care about their customers.”
