  • “Went in today, (hadn't been in in a month or so), selection has decreased and while myself and a couple of other people awkwardly waited to be served I watched three different employees tell their manager they were going on break & leave. When it was my turn, the budtender began weighing my order, sloppily breaking the buds apart with his bare hands, (which had Sharpie writing on them, and didn't look very clean). I've NEVER seen a budtender handle product with their bare hands. :/”

    Hello, thank you for bringing this to our attention! We are so extremely sorry to hear about this happening to you and apologize for this experience. We at Maritime Cafe maintain a strict and hygienic policy on cannabis handling that all staff must adhere to, including requirements to use tongs or gloves when handling all nugs. Unfortunately the employee at the time was still new in-training and was unaware of the severity of this policy. We understand though that there are no excuses for this behavior and have taken steps to ensure that this will not happen again. All staff, including this particular employee, has been reminded of the severity of breaking this policy and to avoid mistakes like this. We thank you once more for bringing this to our attention and apologize deeply as we hope to not have a repeat incident!

  • “My favorite store. Unfortunately, the menu and info I received on the phone was incorrect. Menu says they have CBD cookies with 103mg of CBD. I called before I left home to make sure they still had them in stock. I was told they were 103mg. When I got to the store, they had cookies, but only 80mg. The man said they have never had 103mg cookies. Not sure what happened...?”

It was our fault for not updating with the most accurate information online, and we deeply apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you.
