“Panacea is straight up the best dispensary in NE Portland, if not the whole city. But Why?
The front of the house is an art gallery; not the type of pothead art that stoners might want to look at. Straight up fine art that is framed in nice oak frames by actual artists. Art work that you would see in a gallery not attached to a cannabis spot.
Moving past the art to the people who run the place. They are absolutely wonderful people, all of them. The owner is in the business to help people, not to make money. This dispensary is a NOT-FOR-PROPHET store, they give something like 10% of every months income to ethical and ethnic lawsuit needs. Yes, it is unheard of.
The bud-tenders are extremely informed and have all been there since before recreational, I think..? This is not to say that some frat boy couldn't come in and get steered toward the flower that will get him and his bro's lifted to the point that they would think they are rushing again. They are compassionate and respectable adults with wits to talk and converse about everything from how your day is going to what is medically not working for you and how to fix it.
Now for the good stuff, the cannabis. Panacea has a lot of it and every garden they buy from is organic and tip top talented. I feel that they always have at least a 15 flower available; 3 CBD, 3 Indica, 3 Sativa, and the rest Hybrids. The best part is, all of their flower looks perfect or as some people on Shakedown Street might call it "Fire".
Overall, this is a "must visit" spot in Portland and I would recommend making this place your "go-to" if you live anywhere remotely close. I have been to 20+ spots all over the city since before recreational was cleared and the quality here exceeds most every other place I have been to in Portland.
Do yourself a favor, and hit this place up. It is a deserving experience to shop for a plant that should be deservingly available to anyone who needs or wants it. Get some flower, smoke it, and then go get a pie from Pizza Otto on the corner.”
