“I frequent three marijuana dispensaries in Reno. I would estimate I have worked with 8 or 10 budTenders in the 3 months I've had my medical MJ card and there honestly does not seem to be a standard set of skills that the budTenders have in common. I find that surprising.
I write this review now to publicly give kudos to my favorite budTender, whose name is David M. at Silver State Relief. I am an older woman who wants pain relief from my MJ or a mood enhancer or help with getting, and staying, asleep. Dave is the only dispensary agent who asked me what I wanted from usage of MJ. I found that quite astonishing since it is the health benefits of pot that opened the door to legalization of MJ. David has good listening skills and made recommendations based on what he learned about me. When I returned to see him again, he asked for feedback about my experiences with what I had purchased since I had last seen him. Great question. He was patient and never rushed me and since the marijuana industry has expanded so much in the 30 years I was sober, I had a lot of questions. Dave encouraged this.
Other budTenders can be cavalier and I get the strong impression that they push onto you either whatever product has caught their fancy for the moment or what they may have been told to push. One thing is certain: we consumers are going to experience varying services from budtenders while we move through the infancy of the legal marijuana movement.”

“This dispensary really disappointed me! It was the last of the (now four) dispensaries available in Reno/Sparks/SunValley that I have visited. I am used to friendly bud-tenders who take the time listen to your needs, and perhaps offer suggestions for me to try. Unfortunately I did not get this here. My bud-tender was too busy talking with coworkers to be bothered by my questions, and did not offer any suggestions for pain relief. At least I know where NOT to go!”

“After I got my License, I promptly went to another dispensary! I never made that mistake again. I have been going to the silver state relief regularly ever since! they never fail to deliver on quality and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
My only issue is that specifications on the online menu/blackbird menu are wayyyy off in some cases. Harlequin and Ultimate Chemdawg 91 are about 5% less than advertised (CBD, THC respectively.)”

“This was just my second visit. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. I called in advance, since I live 60 miles away, to make sure that what I wanted to purchase was in stock. They gladly held that for me, was ready when I arrived and also picked out a few other strains. Tried the Microbudz for the first time and am very impressed! Also the prices have dropped since my first visit and that is always nice! Great place to shop!!!”

“This is the best place in tow by far? I wouldn't follow weed maps because weed maps doesn't update the menu daily like Silver state Relief does!! besides the service they have one of the simplest websites and menus around and it works on a phone or tablet! They have the best prices on Thursday on all strains! What I like is the stability of some of the best strains and a variety of others that change weekly!! You won't be disappointed!!”

“Since obtaining my card in February of this year I have been a Silver State patient almost exclusively. I say almost because on the 4th of July you were closed. On this day I was forced to visit the other dispensary. They were out of every strain I asked for, customer service was only average, and no senior discount. Overall opinion Butt Hurt.
With Silver State the customer service is superb, always friendly and knowledgeable . You always seem to have the strains I want available, and if you do run out of something I want you seem to have something comparable in it's place. So I wanted to give everyone at Silver State a five star rating and a sincere thank you. My one critique would be don't be closed on holidays.
