“I ALWAYS do my research before heading out to a dispensary, so when I read the reviews on Unified Collective I was convinced that a 45 min trip (each way) would be worth the drive. However, contrary to what others have said on here for this dispensary, I am quite disappointed. I too am out in the burbs and took the road trip down to 8 and 75 to check this place out, TWICE. Each time I was told they were out of specific strains I was looking for, each time it seemed as if I had more knowledge about their greens than they did.
Now, understand I did not just show up expecting them to have all the strains I want. I made sure to check Leafly and Weedmaps to verify the strains I was looking for were, in fact, in stock. But each time I went, they were always out of something. Please also consider that I am going here with $400 cash in hand each time. But when you are out of 3-4 strains that were advertised as in stock according to the pages they "supposedly keep updated," then there no reason for me to waste the gas.
I'd also recommend to take what others are saying on here as far as being "knowledgable," with a grain of salt. There was little to no information that was given to me (either through conversation or solicitation) that was useful other than "some people have tried this or that" and the price of everything. I attempted to pick the brains of the workers there, but couldn't be told anything about the products themselves. The more technical aspects of this industry were a bit beyond what the CSR's could handle.
Now, their bud on the other hand (when it is actually there) is really good. I only have one complaint on the flower being sold there. Unified tends to have a problem with their mislabeling of strains. For example, yesterday 2-15-16, I requested "Hogs Breath" strain of bud (as this is what was posted on Leafly and Weedmaps as in stock), yet when you look at the label, its actually states its "Boss Hog." Its not that these strains just got mixed up, they did not have the Hogs Breath in the building at all, instead it was stated to me that "its the same thing." This also happened the first time i was there as well. I was only told that "you should have called up here first." Really? so i have to look at your page that may not be completely correct then have to call just to make sure what you stated online was correct? Thats just bad business practice right there. Why should the customer have to go out of his/her way just to make sure what you say is in stock, is really in stock.
Will I go back? Probably. But I will not go out of my way for it. There are plenty of other knowledgable and fully stocked dispensaries out there I will spend my money at first before going there. You don't have to take my word for it though.”
