“Overall not bad. The staff were friendly (although perhaps a little bit too medicated). When asked complex questions about the industry and laws surrounding legal prescriptions I was met with blank stares, which is not, in my opinion, an appropriate response of someone working the front lines of the cannabis revolution.
With that said, the dispensary was clean and simple. Nothing too fancy, but does the job!
I would have appreciated better signage with easily accessible info about product sourcing, cannabinoid content, and other pertinent info aside from the name of the strain and type.
The flowers themselves were nice, I would say AAA grade compared to some other stuff I've had in the city. Perfectly dried and pungent. The price was perhaps a bit steep, but still affordable considering it isn't street weed. Am going for the hash next time :)”
“A typical retail environment that's a departure from what dispensaries are known for, ie. their exclusivity. What you theoretically loose in quality, is quickly made up for by ease of access!
The staff is fairly knowledgeable, but not pretentious. And, though they may be one step away from common dealers, it's one giant step. The idea that marijuana is ONLY a medicine is a joke, and pretending otherwise is as damaging (or more) to the cause of normalization as the watering down of what it means to be a 'patient'.
I don't give these guys top marks for anything, but I appreciate their contribution to the national and global conversation we seem to have started.
(ps. Suggesting people return to their street dealers instead of this, is irresponsible)”
“Unfortunately this is the type of store that gives all of the medical marijuana industry a bad name. Walk in with a nasal spray that has you name on it and they will sell you. They have all low quality product. Already weighed dime bags. These guys are not a dispensary or a compassion centre but low level drug dealers. It is just sad that this is the type of exposure the public will see and think of the medical marijuana community because they will have 5 store all over the city very shortly. You better off on the St then to support just another bunch of dealers that think its ok because they opened a retail store.”
