Strain overview: Tangie, produced by DNA Genetics, is a sativa-dominant cross between Cali Orange and an unknown Skunk variety. This strain has grown in popularity as a delicious, tangerine-scented flower. It’s a popular choice for concentrate production, as extracts truly let the orange-flavored terpenes express themselves.

Grow techniques: Grow outdoors in soil when possible. The soil will help bring out the rich citrus flavor, and growing outdoors allows the plant to reach its full potential. Indoors, provide lots of space for this plant. Top the plants for a bushy structure and even canopy.

Flowering time: 9-10 weeks

Yield: High

Grow difficulty: Moderate

Climate: Tangie can handle higher temperatures and humidity than most, but prefers a climate that stays between 68 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

Indoor/outdoor: A spacious outdoor garden is ideal for growing Tangie. When growing indoors, be aware of the plant’s vertical growth.

Feeding: Keep the soil diverse to allow the plant to fully develop its terpene profile. The more sources for nutrients, the stronger Tangie’s flavors emerge.
