You like us, you really like us! The Leafly team is proud, thrilled, and downright giddy to announce that last night we were honored with GeekWire's 2014 App of the Year award. It's a monumental achievement for our small (but growing!) team and we're grateful for the tremendous accolade.
There was some seriously stiff competition between us and four fantastic finalists: Cloak, which secures browsing on public metrics; Lively, which captures audio and video from concerts and streams the performance to fans; Microsoft Office for iPad; and Parallels Access, a remote desktop app for the iPad that lets you access both Windows and OSX programs. It's cliché, but to even be nominated among such innovative technology is an honor, so emerging with the win is truly incredible and meaningful.
From all of us at Leafly, we'd like to thank 47 Degrees for helping us release a seriously spectacular new app, our site visitors, Leafly fans, the #MyLeaf army, our friends and loved ones, and everyone involved in the cannabis industry who have thrown unconditional support and encouragement our way. We built the Leafly app specifically for you, and we could not have been bestowed this honor without you.
