Can you get me some cannabis? / Where can I buy plants?
Our goal at Leafly is to help consumers and patients find the strains and dispensaries that best match their particular needs. However, we are not a dispensary or a supplier. We don’t provide cannabis for consumers, nor can we personally connect you with a supplier. What you can do is use Leafly to find a local dispensary and contact them to see if they can help you find what you’re looking for.
I need a card/authorization. Can you get me one? If not, where can I get one?
Leafly is not a healthcare provider, but we do offer listings for local clinics that may be able to evaluate you for qualifying conditions and write you a recommendation if you qualify. Check out our list of qualifying conditions per state to see if medical cannabis is right for you. You can search for a clinic by clicking “Find Nearby” and selecting “Find a Clinic.” You can even schedule an appointment through Leafly!

Do you ship Leafly store merchandise overseas?
We ship Leafly Store merchandise to the United States and Canada. We don’t currently offer international shipping, but we’re working on it!
Why don’t you have my favorite strain? How do I review a strain that you don’t have on the site?
We can’t include every strain on the site, but we do our best to carry a variety of the most popular ones that patients and consumers are looking for and dispensaries are carrying. If you can’t find a strain on Leafly, you can add it for our consideration.
Here’s how to add a new strain:
- Log in and click on “My Account” in the top right
- Go to “My Journal” and click to add a new entry
- Next to the “Select Strain” dropdown menu you should see “Add New Strain.” Choose your strain and category (Hybrid, Indica, or Sativa), save it, and then you should be able to rate and review it.
Your review won’t show up publicly on the site, but you’ll still be able to view it in your journal and it will be saved as a submitted strain. We review these regularly and once specific strains get enough submissions, we shortlist which ones to add to our Strain Explorer. When it’s made public on the site, the rating and review you originally submitted will be published with it. If you know others who have tried the strain, you can let them know to leave a review, which will then increase the new strain’s chances of being added to our public directory.
How are strains selected for Leafly?
There are many factors that go into deciding which strains make it onto Leafly, but much of it comes down to consumer popularity and availability in dispensaries. On the user end, oftentimes we select new strains based on which ones are most frequently being submitted to our site.
How do I select a strain as a favorite?
You can select a strain as a favorite right on the strain details page. Above the tile icon on the right-hand side is a little gray heart. Clicking the heart will add this strain to your list of favorites. In order to access your favorite strains, click on your username in the upper right corner, click on Activity, and then the Favorites tab at the top of the screen to find your list of favorite strains.
How do I find a strain based on what I want to treat or desired effects?
You can use some of the filters on our Strain Explorer page to sort by attributes, uses, flavors, symptoms, and conditions that you think will suit you. Choose multiple filters at once to narrow your choices. When using the app, click the word “Apply” to activate these filters. The resulting list will be the best strains for your personal symptoms.
What do the different colored dispensary map markers mean? Does a dark green or purple marker mean something different than a red/white star marker?
The different colored dispensary markers are options our listed dispensaries can choose to add to their accounts to make them stand out more to patients and consumers.
How do you get the information about the dispensaries?
The dispensaries provide the information on their Leafly pages as well as update their menus. If you see a dispensary that you think has missing or inaccurate information listed, just click the link at the bottom of their profile, let us know what’s missing, and we’ll get in touch with them to double-check the info!
How do I leave a review for a dispensary?
Leaving a review for a dispensary is a great way to leave feedback and share your experience with other patients! To leave a dispensary review, search for the dispensary you’d like to review. Once you’re on their page, you should see a “Write a Review” button at the top right. Click on it and a window will pop up where you can rate the dispensary and leave your comments. Hit “Save” and you’re done! You should receive a message that your review will be posted shortly. Your review should appear on the dispensary’s page within 48 hours.
Oops! I made a mistake when I left that review! Can you take it down?
Once a review is posted, we only remove them if they are offensive or abusive so the dispensaries’ ratings aren’t constantly fluctuating. Feel free to leave them a new review you think is more accurate. If you think your original review should still be removed, flag it for our moderators and we’ll take a look.
