Watch This: Michigan Veteran Pleads for Medicine as Senate Kicks Him Out

Published on March 5, 2016 · Last updated July 28, 2020

In case you missed it, this video released in December shows a Senate committee hearing in Lansing and opens with the introduction of United States Marine Corps veteran Dakota Serna.

Serna’s harrowing story of surviving battle in the streets, only to return home to face his own personal battle against post-traumatic stress disorder, will strike a chord with many medical marijuana patients.

Watching the court disregard his comments, shut him down, and kick him out of the building will only infuriate you further and, hopefully, offers a compelling reminder of why we need to keep fighting to end prohibition.
