Wizard Gum is one of those strains that's very difficult to forget. It smells like a candy warehouse was operating inside a Diesel engine manufacturing plant. Visceral memories of nameless bubblegum you chewed as a kid will come rushing up your nose as soon as you crack the bag open. The diesel overlays that hit your nose overpower the Willy Wonka-esque aroma that will tickle the air around you. Thankfully, Wizard Gum tastes exactly the way it smells. The taste is an overpowering sweet diesel, that completely abandons the candy hues, and instead adopts a bubblegum like sweet heaviness that curtails the exhale.
Visually, its hard to find a strain that's as beautiful as Wizard Gum. Deep hues of green (almost blue) are scattered against a light lime green backdrop caught in an endless aurora of Saharan like yellow fields. Shades of purple peekaboo throughout the nuggets, highlighting the whimsical candy escapades that you smell out the bag.
This strain does the job. Right out of the gate, Wizard Gum will immediately take over the system. It's a hard but friendly pull towards bliss in the first 30 seconds. Slowly over the next 30 minutes you'll feel an increasing gradual crescendo of relief that will humbly embrace your entire system. It's like the gift that keeps on giving: instant relief followed by a gradual increase in that relief.
Despite being such a phenomenal strain, Wizard Gum tastes like its teasing me. I want to taste more of the candy/bubblegum hues; I want to smell them more through the bag. Have you ever seen a nug and wanted to eat it because it just looks so delicious? Wizard Gum feels like it should be that delicious nug. Something I can't put my finger on makes this strain fall short of being top 10 on my list.
