I've been a customer at this store for a few years, and have always had an acceptable experience, but this was ruined with the last interaction that I had with staff there. I've been using curbside pickup, and they tell you to turn off your car before the budtender will approach to make the transaction. I don't have an issue doing this, but twice I've had the same security guard demand I shut off my car before the budtender even exits the building. It's been freezing cold in the mornings, and I have chronic joint pain, which is aggravated by cold weather. I got upset at this, and asked to speak to the manager on site. When the budtender went to get the manager, the security guard told me that if I had a problem with it I should go somewhere else. The manager came outside and I told him what had happened, as well as what the security guard had told me. The manager said he would "address the issue", which is the same thing he said the first time this happened, and we proceeded with the purchase. Afterwards I called to speak with someone higher up, and was connected with a woman who said she was "in charge" but refused to say what her actual position with the company was. I tried to tell her what happened, and she cut me off to say that it was policy for budtender safety. I again tried to point out that this was before the budtender came out of the building, and that I do shut my car off for the actual transaction. She said that I was interrupting her, and that the conversation was getting nowhere. She concluded by saying that "the security guard was within his right" and that I should go somewhere else if I had an issue with it. She then hung up on me, and when I called back she said that she was going to block my phone number and hung up again. I hope that the owner sees this and can address the issues with their staff, but I will never be returning again.
