Short and sweet. I really like the display and organization of the products. The staff is very inviting, and give off a great vibe. That being said, I did have a few disappointments, and suggestions. 1st, the personal sales rep. Great touch, but a little unnecessary. Kinda shifted the vibe having them hover over you while you check stuff out. Would be way better to have them in a different area, ready to assist when needed. It gave me a somewhat rushed feeling having the sales rep just sit and wait behind me. Kinda threw me off a little. Also, I didn't understand why they had this big tablet to log in my order. I could easily download an app on my phone to sync with your store, adding things to my cart as I browse. Then bringing a QR code or something to scan at the register for my purchases. Outside of that, I was a little disappointed with the edibles I was recommended. My only experience with store bought edibles was Cheeba Chews and Kiva Chocolate Bars. Last experience was a 180 mg kiva milk chocolate bar. I ate 90 mg before my flight. Literally said duude.. the plane is going Super Sayian as it took off... so imagine my disappointment when I pound 100 mg midnight smore bar, and feel what's best described as.. A water'd down flight. Same with the Choice Gummies (tho these had a slightly more noticeable touch, no where near what I anticipated). Was pretty bummed I spent $50 for a feeling I had to keep asking myself. Is this it?? The final thing that bummed me out a little was end of my visit. Prior to coming out. I had called around a few spots to make sure the stores were rec. When I called New Standard. I was told about the weekly specials, and the first time visit special of 10% off. Which basically was a the gift of taking off the tax I would have paid. As well as something called a "We got you Box." Both of which I asked the sales rep about when checking out, and he seemed to have no idea what I was talking about at first, then said ohhhh yeah that's only for medical patients. Which really threw my end of the visit off. It was one of the main reasons I was making New Standard the first shop I ever visited back home. Idk just felt weird when I ask if the store is rec so I can come shop, but the specials i'm told about are strictly for medical patients once i get there. All and all I I also got a pre-roll that was amazing, as well a gram of kief that is fire. I'll be back when a few specific strains when I see them in stock. prob wont mess with the hometown edibles anymore.
