This highly coveted varietal was supposedly bred by two brothers in California back in the 1970's. According to history the brothers mixed a Mexican and Thai sativa with a Afghani Indica to create this beauty. History also says that the name "Trainwreck" was given to this strain because there was a Trainwreck that happened close to the two brothers grow site which made them harvest the plants early so it wasn't discovered by anyone. Trainwreck can be grown both indoor and outdoors but prefers the outside because of its sativa genetics making it taller than most but burly because of its Afghani influence. When grown properly this strain is should have a heavy sativa-like high giving users intense and energetic cerebral effects.

Trainwreck is a one of a kind pure sativa strain that is a favorite among both medical marijuana users and recreational smokers. The characteristic that stands out the most when describing Trainwreck is its unmistakably pungent smell. Trainwreck's smell and taste are so unique, that you will easily recognize it in any wreck hybrids you may come across.

Jager Kush, named after the famous German licorice schnapps, Jagermeister, is a potent Indica dominant strain created and perfected in Oregon. Jager combines two legendary strains; Blue Dream and LA Confidential, and has a deep setting high that progresses towards tiredness and total muscle relaxation making it more suited as a nighttime strain.

Jager immediately establishes its bag appeal with large, chunky flowers. The flowers have a spade-like shape, almost resembling pine cones, tapering down from a broad base to a pointed tip. The buds adhere in a dense, indica-typical structure with dark green leaves and rust-colored pistils. Most phenotypes of the strain also boast streaks of deep purple -- these striking colors are the byproduct of colder-than-average weather affecting the plants’ pigments (called anthocyanins) during the growing process. These already-colorful flowers are also coated in translucent amber trichomes, accounting for their psychoactivity and giving them a very sticky texture.

Like its namesake liquor, Jager has a pronounced aroma of black licorice. When inspected more closely, dank scents of musk and damp earth are also at play. Meanwhile, grinding up or breaking open these dense buds yield some traces of diesel. This strain has a surprisingly smooth smoke for an indica; on the exhale, this smoke has a herbal, tobacco-like flavor, along with some sweet licorice that lingers on the palate. Notably, Jager offers no grape flavors, despite its often entirely purple flowers -- this is because the pigments that determine the leaves’ color do not have a corresponding effect on their aroma.

Strawberry Cough is a unique, strong Sativa leaning hybrid known for its distinct strawberry and tropical-like taste. This varietal's history is one riddled with controversy with many unanswered questions, but as far as we know this exotic beauty hails from an old school haze , eardbeer strain, and strawberry fields. Strawberry Cough is an easy plant to grow and generally thrives better indoor under warmer temperatures. This varietal is a well balanced sativa that will keep you alert and focused, yet relaxed without tiredness.

Strawberry Cough gardens efficiently whether using hydroponics or soil setups. It is too branchy for sea of green, but Dutch Passion recommends planting 15-20 plants per square meter (1-2 plants per square foot). Strawberry Cough likes a boost of nutrients at the beginning of vegetative growth. Although no data was available for outdoor gardens, Strawberry Cough performs terrifically in greenhouses. Strawberry Cough is a plant of happy mediums, growing to a height of around 3 feet indoors or in a greenhouse garden and exhibiting leaves that balance between indica and sativa influences. This multi-branched plant will start delivering ripe colas about 40 days into flowering, and continue with a second wave that finishes at about 65 days. Greenhouse flowering times are typically a week shorter than indoor gardens.

The buds are tight and shaped like narrow pine cones, and may get quite long. This variety’s branches are sturdy and support even the weightiest of colas. Strawberry Cough tickles the lungs with her creamy-sweet smoke, whose flavor resembles strawberry, perhaps with a kiwi fruit complement. Winning the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2008 and 2009, Super Lemon Haze is one to surely never dissapoint. SLH is a strain etched with gold tracing all the way back to its mother strain, three time Cannabis Cup winner Super Silver Haze, which was then crossed with a Lemon Skunk to produce this beauty. Sweet and tart in its taste, SLH starts slow in the body and then creeps into the head creating a long lasting, energetic high.

The Lemon Skunk mother brings a fragrant lemon intensity to tantalize haze fans, as well as adding steady skunk genetics that will appeal to growers. The haze influences still make this a better multi-branch plant. Super Lemon Haze retains a willowy sativagrowth pattern and forms long buds bearded in extra long hairs. This strain does equally well in soil or hydro, and prefers a high PK intake in later flowering. Although Super Lemon Haze can technically be grown both indoors and out, it is limited between 40 degrees latitude North and South outdoors. It is faster and more forgiving than its haze papa, but most Super Lemon Haze growers will be gardening in the great indoors. At finish, Super Lemon Haze averages 3.5 feet indoors, but may get up to 10 feet tall in the proper outdoor setting.

The winning combination of lemon / lime pungency and strong spicy haze background is undeniably detectable. The Super Lemon Haze taste is a citrus fruity bite with a light acridity.
