So I get home with this strain from my local dispo and when I opened the container, all I could smell was someone's rank underarms. After a quick personal sniff test to make sure it wasn't ME, I knew instantly this was going to be a great ride. I'm a daily smoker (95% flower) and this strain didn't disappoint. I took a few drags to get to get idea of the profile for myself versus taking other people's reviews as fact. I now know why it is called "Pure Michigan" just a few hits in and I swear, right hand to God, all I could hear was Tim Allen, narrating my life as if it were a tourism commercial for the Great Lake State. Very impressed.

I should probably preface this by saying, I generally try to avoid ANY Cookies stains. This time however, I did try this on a recommendation because when I go in to my local dispo, I am constantly asking them to stock up on things like infused pre rolls or whatever because tolerance is higher these days. Tried concentrates and still PREFER the flavor and experience of flower. This shit sent me to the friggin moon. Call it five hits maybe and I was ROCKED!! Not quite couch-locked but not ready to run a marathon either. Just a great all-around stone! Impressive.

I grew this for my secon outdoor grow in a high heat area and this year happened to be unusally humid. It got too tall for the area and I was forced to bend and stake it. BEST THING I COULD'VE DONE!! Instead of having one large top with smaller outlying branches I ended up with about 10 tops. Yield was very nice and from the very moment it began to flower it smelled of the sweetest grapes. I got antsy and decided to toke prior to the full cure and was extremely impressed. Expected harshness due to lack of cure time but was not at all really. Smooth, flavorful and one hellova Sativa! While it smelled like grapes it had a slightly different flavor to it still sweet in kind of citrusy(sp?) with a faint pine aftertaste. Really impressive.

Watermelon Gelato is so fire!! Dude put me on to it here and its definitely worth a try. Worst case scenario, hit them up when they have a $10/g day as this strain is very top shelf at $17/g but DEF worth it. Blueberry Kush is pretty good too.

First dispensary that I have visited that use the client-friendly cannisters for flower. Not only is there a port for getting a good whiff of the profile but also has a magnifier to better see trichomes. Staff is knowledgeable but not pushy or overbearing. Store is inpeccably clean and well laid out. Flower in one area, concentrates in another and edibles in their own area. Visited other Peak storefronts but this one is top-tier without the insane markup. For example, my fave dispensary is $50 OTD for .5 gram Sunday Extract carts, these guys are at like $48. Flower prices are reasonable and vary depending on strength and overall quality. Must visit if you haven't yet.
