I never really tasted the licorice in this when I smoked it. It gave me a total body relaxation feeling, all my limbs felt heavy and very relaxed. It gave me a slight head buzz, but that only lasted about an hour. The pain relief was really good, and even after the heavy feeling left my limbs, I really did not want to move because the pain was gone. I probably will use this again as a pain reliever when necessary.

This is my go-to strain for daytime help with anxiety and pain. The first effect when smoking is dizziness and then relaxation. It takes away the pain while allowing me to focus. I don’t get sleepy with this, only intent on whatever activity I am involved in. Great for calming and pain relief, while allowing you to function.

Purple Punch has a sweet berry taste and smell which is very enjoyable. When I smoked the bud, I felt it in my head first with a comfortable and creative vibe while relaxing my muscles. I was intensely moved by music and spent time fantasizing while listening. It took away my back pain and my arthritis pain without me even noticing. I just realized later that I wasn’t hurting. Definitely recommend for anyone with high anxiety or PTSD as it totally removes them from your experience while high.

The effects of this strain are as described in the summary of the strain. When smoking bud, they come over you in waves of feeling. While smoking, the first feeling is a sudden dizziness, followed in minutes by the relaxing wave. This loosens all your muscles and takes away pain in a comforting soft blanket feeling. Then the dizziness goes away but the pain relief stays. I noticed that my muscles were so relaxed that they didn’t want to move or support my body. I didn’t get sleepy, just totally relaxed and calm. Definitely glues you to a couch or recliner!

This was a really powerful strain, so be careful with it at first. It knocked my head into the twilight zone within 15 mins. My legs wouldn’t hold me up and my arms wouldn’t work. After laying down, I was out the minute my head hit the pillow. Slept long and hard, but on waking there was no fuzziness or hangover feeling. Keep this by your bed to relieve pain and help with insomnia.
