I offer thanks and praise to all the eldritch and ancient Gods for this place! All of the Staff were very friendly and welcoming. My Budtender, young Mr. Ali, knows his weed. I Usually go for a GSC for daily pain relief, which I have every single day from my illness. He suggested Chem D.O.G. for it's potency. He was absolutely right!! They also have a huge variety, with a well designed 'show room' Even though they were a bit busy, I was still in and out very quickly. If you are in the Metro Detroit area, and are either a medical patient like me, or recreational ( I am now convinced that I was wrong, there must be a God...weed is legal in my lifetime! ) then you NEED to pay them a visit!!
I love this place, my favorite place for around a year. However, something is amiss. They had briefly closed about a month ago, re-opened quickly, I went there about two weeks ago and it was back in business, and things were looking up. But I went there on 3 January 2019 and the roll door was closed up. Does anyone know anything about what is going on??? I emailed District Club but have not heard back. Please tell me that they are back, or will return soon.
I am about to make a joint declaration; I declare that Fire OG is some of the best erb, that I have ever smoked. Easily in my top 3. Pain has melted away, and I am feeling absolutely at peace, with everyone and everything. If I could fix this world, I would in a second. This is solid stuff for listening to music, but be warned; as much as it can take away mental/emotional stress, if you listen to some sad music, you can get caught in a very serious 'Downer Vortex' Just listen to some awesome tunes, or watch something funny or trippy ( cuing up "Altered States" right now ) and I would be surprised if you do not feel a "peaceful, easy feeling" Fire OG gets a well deserved 5 Beanbags out of 5, as it is excellent for both physical and mental pain. Pick up a gram and see. Peace and Love everybody!
Sometimes,you go out looking for something in particular,but you find much more.Want desperately to try all of the classics before I am in the ground: Panama Red,Acapulco Gold,Thai,etc....And I notice this place is close-by,and had some PR.First thing I notice is a professional set-up.Included in that was a impressively sized Guard who,although amiable enough,was somebody I would not wish to make angry.Seriously,Goliath never died,he works at Green World.That honestly made me feel very safe.After I finished the required paper work,it didn't take but a minute to get called back.And wow!!! First off,there is my Bud Tender,Mike.Really cool Guy,very knowledgeable,he knew his stuff! Huge selection of some really great strains (quite a few I haven't seen around in awhile) and just about every possible thing you could ever need (and some stuff I wasn't aware of) So I get my Red,and I ask Mike about pain reliever's.Normally I go with Platinum Cookie,Platinum OG.Mike tells me about 'Gelato' a Hybrid that worked very well for him.Dude Man,you rule!! Numb without sleepiness,and I can interact with others just fine.Just sitting here,typing this out and listening to some good music.So Bud Tender Mike,thank you very much.The least I can do is spin a tune in your Honour.Thus "Walking in the Great Shining Path of Monster Trucks" by Clutch,shall be cranked up "higher then the highest of the Minarets" and many a bowl shall be smoked.Thank you very much Green World~a new Regular.

After going to a few others,I gave H.R. a try and was in no way disappointed.Very clean and professional,and felt very comfortable.Very nice and very knowledgeable staff,they know their green and they have never steered me wrong.A great selection and very fair pricing.Really like them a lot and they have become my regular haunt.
I agree with pretty much all the effects listed but the stress relief.....Man I just got so damned paranoid because I had some indigestion,and I unfortunately live in utmost terror of having a heart attack.Yes,I have extreme anxiety,and can,have,and will have another panic attack even without weed.Add to that it does nothing for pain,so it is not what I would consider a great all-around-er of a strain.I know effects vary but I always get dry mouth and a headache ( though not severe) Lastly,it has short legs.
That is it though,as far as negatives.Positive-wise,it does seem to make one more........aware/alive if that makes any sense (cut me some slack please,just smoked a bowl) Even before my paranoia kicked in,I felt a real sense of being up-lifted,some real intensity.Yes,I actually do feel like cleaning the bathroom or fixing something.It will make you gabby,and you might find yourself going off to anyone who will listen,and mightily bored they will be,listening to ones crazy-ass ramblings.
What I really appreciate is the laughter that will ensue.If you are down and out,then grab whatever type of film/YouTube video that gives you a chuckle,take a couple deep bong hits and you will be laughing,long after the laughing started to hurt ones ribs.Very very up-lifting and intense.If you do have anxiety along with depression,then you might want to keep your anxiety meds nearby,just in case.I give it a 3 and a half-ish out of 5.For my fellow sullen,morose,and depressed:do yourself a favour and next time you are at the dispensary,pick up a gram or two to try.It is fairly cheap and I doubt you will be disappointed.
