They appear to have thought of everything! JAMES, the attending budtender, recommended DMT (the strain, not the chemical) based on my other choice (another heavy indica) and I've got to say, it was a good recommendation. Intense couch lock but crazy high; the way a proper indica should be. I'm using it to alleviate withdrawal from a variety of antidepressants and after a few bowls, I'm feeling just fine. I have been a pretty regular customer at Healing Tree, for several years. I started going somewhere else after a time, though. The quality of the product took a deep nose dive during much of 2017. I gave them another chance recently, and have been back a few times since. They have totally rebounded! They remodeled, made the check in process super easy, and as always have an enormous selection of flower and edibles (can't speak for other products as flower and edible are what I use). Of the three or four times I visited after going elsewhere, the bud was potent, regardless of which strain I chose. The pricing is a little high for some strains but that is of course to be expected. Recently, they've hired a number of female budtenders, which is a refreshing change from the mostly male-dominated dispensaries in my area. Everyone is really friendly and knowledgeable. There's a large waiting room. Check-in takes about 45 seconds. The wait to get into the bud room is usually not longer than 5-10 minutes. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the desolate northeast side, which has over the past year seem most of the dispensaries on 8 Mile closed due to licensing issues. This place and Dream 313 (a few blocks east) are my "regulars" now.

This is the perfect strain for indica users. Just perfect - gets your head into that space where problems don't exist and gravity's rules seem to break, and that's just for the head high. The body high is concentrated in the chest, from where it radiates slightly into the shoulders and neck. Mmm. It's also so wonderful at battling insomnia that it may as well be a pharmaceutical sleep aid only without the displeasure of dealing with big pharma. In my area (Detroit), I've been able to find only one single dispensary that sells it: Puff Detroit on 8 Mile. They don't always have it in, which is a terrible pity because this is the sort of weed that all others should aspire to be. Beware, though - I use it just before sleep - doing otherwise will melt your brain as your attention span sinks to sub-zero levels. If you see this anywhere, or have a caregiver that is able to grow it, jump at the chance to get some!

9 Pound Hammer has become one of my everyday go-to strains. It's a very pleasant indica. It's super cheap around here, too. I just scored an ounce at a dispensary for only $160. This is one of the best indicas I've had, because it takes stock of all my medical issues and high stresses, and allows me to forget them for a few hours, while the dreamy indica sleepy effects make for a "floating on a cloud" body high. As for the head high, unfortunately it makes me dumb as mud while under its influence (I'm struggling to type this out now after a few rips), but that's IMO a fair price for not dwelling on my problems for an evening. Or in my case, every evening. After all this, you settle down into sleep, becoming one with your bed pretty quickly. Great for insomnia and other mind issues like hyper-vigilance. I love you, 9lb!

Got an ounce of this wonderful bud from my new caregiver. After a few bowls, it's become one of my favorites. I typically go for heavy indicas, and this did not disappoint. Pleasant taste, crazy head high although I still felt somewhat functional. I didn't notice any body high effects, but then, I was stoned, so I probably just don't remember. This strain is perfect for my C-PTSD maintenance, pain maintenance, insomnia, and the most important factor in smoking pot: it does a fantastic job of making you forget about your worries for awhile. It swaddles you in euphoria and holds you gently until sleep comes. The buds I got were sticky as hell and covered in trichomes. I love you, Sugar Black Rose!

Wonderful strain. It has everything you'd want in a good quality pot: trichomes galore, orange highlights throughout. It doesn't burn too quickly and isn't a rock, but rather, it's just right whether smoking a bud in a pipe or using this as your go-to for cannabutter, for which I find it ideal. The sweetness and potency of this strain ought to produce some high-quality time in la-la land. Definitely better for parties and/or social smoking since it can make you talkative. Even smoking it alone, it feels like there's a party atmosphere surrounding you.

Great prices on some of the more pricey strains sold by other nearby dispensaries. This place seems pretty new, given the state of the storefront, which is boarded up and has "DREAM 420" painted on a window board over the door, so it's a bit hard to notice while passing by driving, but I think that will change soon once this place becomes less unknown. Anyway: friendly staff, good (if small) selection, good location right on 8 Mile, between the Pizza Hut and the KFC. I tried out this place today to score some Jilly Bean, which I haven't had in forever! Other than the interior setup this is a fine establishment. My one negative remark is that I didn't get a free gram or pre-roll as advertised for a first-time customer, but with prices like these I'll overlook that. :)

Wonderful selection and super friendly staff. Even the location is not too bad. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. In and out in about 5 minutes. And the products... whew! Phenomenal stuff. You guys will definitely be seeing me again. :)
