Medicine Men

First off: Store is CLOSED. They moved to another location (which I won't bother sharing here) and haven't updated it on Leafly at all. Super annoying to drive there after checking out the menu and having a sign on the door saying they relocated and changed names. I don't remember the date it said, but apparently it happened a while ago. Checking in was normal I suppose. When I walked in I saw one of the budtenders rolling up some joints, but was just using his hands and not gloves. Some people mind, some people don't, but I don't like watching dirty hands all over the shake. Their edibles were decently priced, but didn't actually work well. I grabbed a 200mg brownie that didn't taste anything like cannabis, and gave a very very subtle high. Now I do have a high edible tolerance - however normally that should have given me a better high. Won't be coming back. I honestly don't know why I bothered to drive to the new location instead of stopping somewhere that actually, well, was open.

Dockside Cannabis in Shoreline

This used to be my favorite rec store. About a year ago this was definitely the best store hands down. In service, quality, etc. For about 4 months it was literally the only store I'd go to. Things started changing a while ago - changing the sales style to a more cafeteria shopping experience. I never see the employees who really knew what they were talking about anymore, I just see an unenthusiastic sales associate trying to upsell. They've become less about quality and customer experience and more into an Starbucks. Overpriced decent cannabis served with minimal enthusiasm. Really unfortunate. Most of the answers I get now are "it's indica" or "yeah it's a heavy hitter". I used to get in depth descriptions on each strain I asked about and knew I could trust the sales associate. Now I feel like whoever's at the counter just wants to unload whatever stock they're told to sell instead of what I actually want. I used to be a daily customer, then reduced to maybe once a week, and now I haven't been there for over a month. I don't really see myself coming back with how much everything's declined.

The quality per price really doesn't match up at this location at all. I can find plenty of top shelf cannabis around for less than the $20 grams they're charging. Most places nearby I can grab the same quality for about $14/gram. Very expensive for what you get, especially if you're looking to grab one of the more inexpensive strains they offer. Service was okay. I prefer to have IDs being checked right when you go in, not when you're handing them the cash. That felt a bit strange. The shop itself is very well-lit and organized. I'd only stop in if for some reason I really needed to, otherwise I'd go to one of the many other options nearby.

Fweedom Cannabis in Mountlake Terrace

This store just opened up about 2 minutes away from my apartment so I needed to go check it out. The only thing I recommend changing right away is to ALWAYS have somebody up front. When I came in there was nobody inside and I felt super weird. Then they both came out of the back and greeted me. They were both very helpful and this store carries a TON of sniffers. Most rec stores don't have any sniffers which is ridiculous since a large portion of me picking a product is smell. Prices seemed decent for a rec store, but again I didn't buy anything so I'm not sure if quality meets the price.

When I first entered there were two budtenders chatting. Neither greeted me and when I walked up one just held up his hand to say "give me your card". At that point I'm already turned off from the location. The store lighting was nice and there was plenty of room. However, I felt awkward with the unhelpful/unenthusiastic budtenders there. I grabbed one of the Doc Croc Dabulators and it clogged after 3 puffs. I tried to unclog it and it snapped in half. Luckily I could take the BHO out and use it in my dab rig. Such a was of over $20 though. Most rec stores will now let you return a faulty or broken electrical/mechanical device. This stores' return policy won't allow that though, I'm assuming since they carry the low quality stuff that would break all the time. Definitely not coming back in.

Extremely average for their prices. I know this is basically just a tourist destination anyway, but the service/quality wasn't at the price point. It is a very cramped little space. A LOT smaller than it looks in the Leafly pictures. I personally wouldn't go here again or recommend it. However, for tourists I definitely see the appeal.

This store is awesome. They actually check the medical referral everytime and seem to actually want to help the customer find exactly what they're looking for. I'm big on smell and they let me smell almost every jar they had. Their concentrate prices are incredible. The rosin I grabbed was some of the best I've tasted and it was the least expensive gram I've ever paid for. Fantastic dispensary. Their menu is on Weedmaps, not sure why it's not on Leafly as well.

The West Seattle Marijuana Store

I came in and started looking around as usual. This store has a great selection of cannabis products as well as accessories. Probably the best shop I've seen in that regard. The budtender seemed a tad pretentious, though. Which is unfortunate since they have good products. I was talking to him about a specific strain and I told him I've always found it as a "B" strain. He went into a small rant about how it's all about the farm it comes from, etc. I'm already aware of all this and I've had it from many different growers. After that he says that he knows what he's talking about, and how he better since he has a THC tattoo. This sentence alone was so obnoxious that I just bought the gram and left. Guess what - it was mediocre. There's a reason it mostly gets used as a stabilizing strain during breeding. Anyway, the attitude ruined the store for me. I'll definitely not be coming back.

My first time in was awesome. I don't remember their names, but the budtender and check-in guy were great. Super helpful, treated me like I'd been there 100 times even though it was my first. The budtender was very patient with me. Going to a dispensary is a fun activity for me. He made it more enjoyable by letting me smell everything I wanted, answered all questions, and knew a lot more about cannabis than most budtenders I've met.

Hashtag Cannabis - Fremont

Overall a good store to purchase your cannabis from. The employees seemed knowledgeable from what I could tell. Prices were pretty average for a rec store in the Seattle area. The only thing I really didn't like about the store was just how huge it was without space being properly filled. When I came in it was a while ago so it may have change, but it felt like I was in a giant showroom, but there were only products on one side of the store.
