i shop here all the time, initially due to the proximity of the shop to my home. But the price, quality, and customer service keep me coming back. I usually buy the prepackaged ounces because they are a great deal. When they first started offering the prepacked ounces, they were always top shelf buds! Ive gotten gorilla glue, orange herijuana, mob boss, and blue berry headband, just to name a few of my favorites, always packed with dense pungent nuggets. However recently, the quality of the prepackaged ounces has went down hill considerably, they seem to take the worst strain they have purchased wholesale and pack it up for ounce sales. The deal is still great and im never one to complain, but my most recent prepackaged ounce, "spectrum 12" is terrible! i get one of these every week and its never been this bad.. The flower itself is a very very dark green and has an off smell to it, like it was cured when it was half wet. It is stringy and stemmy, and you must use a grinder to get the flower apart at all. I'm almost afraid to smoke it. I purchase an ounce here every week, and sometimes it doesnt look the best, but it always smokes well! But this.. this is terrible. I have a limited budget, and spent my money on an ounce that i get absolutely zero relief from. After searching online, the only information i find is that spectrum 12 is a high cbd strain. If this is the same strain, why didn't my budtender tell me? When the same guy has helped me 20+ times, he knows what im looking for and if this isnt it, why not say something? I love lightshade and their products, and in the past three years ive spent over 5,000 dollars with the company. But after this last experience i feel taken advantage of, and im not sure if i will continue to shop here. I've visited this location well over 100 times, and only had one customer service issue (received wrong product, but was correct on receipt) and it was such a hassle to get it fixed im weary of taking my issue to the store directly. Hopefully someone in management sees this and can offer a solution, i would love to keep shopping here but i hate to think i wasted 122$. feels like we're back on the black market and you get what you get :(
