I don't know what happened over the past 6 months, but the last 3 times I've been to swell camelback I've had a bad experience. Front desk ranges from marginally polite to down right rude, there's a new batch of budtenders that are downright awful, they brush you off (even when you're the only customer in the place). Ask questions about the products and they give canned answers: "everything is good" or "I don't know". They're inexperienced, poorly trained, couldn't tell you the difference between one strain to the next... Let alone cannabinoid specifics or god help them, cannabinoid / turpene nuances. Swell used to be my first choice, but after 3 really bad experiences, never again. I used spend my full 2.5 oz there every couple weeks and my last and final visit: I call the front desk to ask when my limit resets. The guy yells at me (literally) and says "ask the budtender when you come in". I had in fact asked the budtender how much weight I had left on my previous visit and she couldn't figure it out or just didn't want to go to the trouble of doing basic math. The cannabis community in phoenix is not that big, & word of mouth is huge. Hope they get their issues worked out, whatever they may be.
