It definitely smells like Sage and it's great for chronic pain patients like myself who use Indica mostly and towards the evening so I can get any good sleep. The budtender recommended this to me because of his wife having similar issues and allows her to function during the day. So I tried it, and for the first time in years, stopped at the store, went to my parents house with steaks and all the trimmings, and bbq'd for everybody, n all enjoyed a scrumptious meal and had a great time. recommended for daytime use for anyone who needs something for pain and wants to function during the day.

i have had the real deal in the late 70's living in fla. no, it looks, tastes, smells, and acts differently today, than the real deal. i dont think todays cg is fake, i think its attributes are changed because of indoor grows, advanced nutes, and the cure. we cannot replicate what nature and old time farmers produced. and the original, had zero skunk smell to it. so if yours smells skunky, maybe it is fake? or maybe it lies in the way the ol timers processed the original? but ya...it was all sorts of honey and brown colors... never green. either way, it was great then and now, but not the same. melts pain n that is why i say, thumbs up.

great taste and aroma. great anytime smoke for chronic pain and fibromyalgia. dark star is better for sleep, but if you need sleep, this will do nicely. great all around medicine.

I am rating for the first time because of some comments in the ratings. As a patient of severe and debilitating pain most of my life, this strain is wonderful. It helps with fibro, nerve and bone pain, sleep, and everything in between. I was able to get this medicine at my local dispensary ONCE. And it went fast, so it must have been grown and handled correctly. If you find some and it doesnt give you the relief I describe, take it back and tell them it is not true Dark Star (u can tell by the smell...nothing quite like it) or their grower is "off". This strain works great 4 any pain and will give relief to severe insomniacs as well. All the benefits of a great medicine, WITH ZERO NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS! P.S. If the world is to take us seriously, as using cannabis for medicine, we have to stop with the ridiculous naming of strains. (green crack, alien asshat, dogshit, etc) Imagine going to your doctor for an infection. I will bet anyone, there are no antibiotics with names that sound juvenile or are derived from the typical (or stereotypical) "stoner". Let us work together in sending the right message to the world about God's gift to humanity, instead of people laughing at us and giving no validity to mmj as medicine...sorry everybody...but the ridiculous names gotta go.
