I've been here twice and it's already one of my favorite dispensaries! It's nice and roomy, and the waiting room has magazines you can read while you wait (which is never very long). Very clean, minimalist decor, but with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and they really know their products - they even educated me about the growers of the strains I bought. The prices and OMMP discounts are absolutely fantastic, especially for the quality you get. I loved everything I bought both times and can't wait to try more!

Bloom is one of my favorite Portland dispensaries. I'm a regular customer, and I encourage you to check it out too! I mostly buy flower, and their quality is fantastic; I've never been disappointed by anything I've bought there. Rather than having dozens of strains like some of the larger dispensaries, Bloom carries only the buds that meet its standards of quality - and they're pretty high. Their middle-shelf ($8/gram) flower would probably cost you $10/gram elsewhere, and their top-shelf flower is very affordable at just $10/gram. It's a great place to try new strains, and I've found some of my favorite strains (notably Sour Jack and Watermelon Kush) there! My one criticism of Bloom is that their specials aren't very good. They have a reward program, but the points expire after 30 days, so if you're a light consumer like me you'll never see a penny of your credit (I didn't even know it existed until I saw it here). It would be a nice incentive to shop there more often if they had better specials/sales - hopefully they will have some in the future!

Obama Kush provides a rich sensory experience that lets my imagination wander, but profoundly relaxes my body (and provides great pain relief doing so). Interesting, tingly body high that I can feel from my head to my toes - feels kind of like a summer breeze. Don't expect to be too alert after trying this strain, but you may be talkative/verbose. I likw to take this before bed; I feel more alert the next morning. Overall, would recommend.

One of my favorite strains! Gives a wonderful body buzz without making you sleepy AT ALL. Very relaxing for muscles; I love it for treating my pain. The buzz can get pretty strong in your head if you have a lot of it, so I tend to stick to small amounts.

This is a very exciting strain for me. I have a number of problems, including chronic pain and anxiety, and for several years have not been able to sleep without taking xanax - until I tried Watermelon, that is. It relaxed my body and soothed my pain; it relaxed my mind and soothed my nerves. I drifted comfortably off to sleep and woke up BEFORE MY ALARMS, (I set 3 alarms to wake me up, since that's what it usually takes), feeling alert and energized. Definitely one of my favorite strains.

I got this from Portland Medicine Pot (Portland, OR), and was very pleased with the quality and effects. Flower is dense and sticky with a nice lemony smell and taste (vaped). Gave me a strong body high without making me too sleepy - perfect for painful, tense muscles. Would not recommend for regular daytime use as it is rather relaxing, but it's excellent for evening use. Also great if you want to take a nap during the day; I always wake up more refreshed when I use this!

Collective Awakenings is the first dispensary I visited (on the recommendation of a friend) and it remains one of my favorites. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and their quality is excellent. They have a nice selection of high-CBD edibles, which is a rare find! I'll definitely be a regular customer here.
