IMHO this is another pointless strain. Blue Dream by itself is way better; crossing it with a strong indica just muddles the effects. No real effect on inflammation and it makes tinnitus horrible. It does spark some creativity but it makes you too lethargic to do anything about it. P.D. also made my depression worse, I did not feel uplifted at all. No wonder this bud was discounted.

Not a huge selection by any means but the flower is of great quality, and it is a great shop if you need medicinal CBD strains- 5 in one location is pretty amazing. Friendly guys running the place and the atmosphere is super nice and inviting. Great little neighborhood shop.

Used it twice and had nothing but sadness and anxiety. LA Confidential by itself is beyond incredible; crossing it with Cheese ruins it completely. Sometimes breeders should leave well enough alone. Only positive is the incredible taste- like Thai basil and lavender, but I won't use it again, a waste of 12 bucks.

Its ok, not a favorite. No real medicinal value but the high is ok, pretty uplifting and made me laugh for no reason. Does not make you spacey but the high is not long lasting and the crash is really really hard. For that reason I would not recommend Jilly for daytime use. Taste is kinda icky, like sweet mango mixed with grass clippings. Jilly has a neutral effect on tinnitus, for me it did not hurt or help. Also I heard Jilly is suppossed to be sexy but not for guys, I can see why it would work for women though. Made me really grumpy the next day.

This is a great place for those who require total discretion because it is in a relatively hidden location on a side street. Good quality flower and nice selection often featuring unusual strains. The girl manning the front of house duties was super nice. The bud tenders are not particularly friendly but they really make up for it with their incredible knowledge of the different strains. And having knowledgeable bud tenders is becoming increasingly important as breeders are going crazy and half the strains that dispensaries are carrying these days are not even listed in the Leafly database. So high marks for that, and I would not hesitate to come here again.

Made me feel like a zombie – spaced out with an intense sense of focus but there was no happiness or euphoria at all. There was no deep thinking either and I just felt strangely blank. No anxiety to report. I picked up the strain because it was given high marks for inflammation, but I only found it moderately effective for Crohn's disease and Ménière's disease. As others have said, it is hard to believe this is a hybrid as it feels almost entirely Indica. It made me incredibly sleepy and I will probably only use the strain to fight insomnia. In all, the sauce is not the boss- it is just OK and I would not necessarily seek it out again.

The Salem scene is getting pretty oversaturated particularly in South Salem and it seems like everyone has great product and good service. I cannot say that High Casacade is a cut above everyone else in the area but it is a very good place. Nice girls up front, knowledgable budtenders in back and good quality flower as well as a solid selection. Only one concern- there is no reason to scan people's i.d., just check it. H.C. is the only place I know of that keeps your info. I don't like that.

Fantastic Indica for treating Ménière’s disease. The strain seems to have the ability to reduce inflammation in the inner ear. It might spike the tinnitus slightly during the high but the ringing is below baseline the next day. LA Confidential is only moderatly effective for Crohn’s however. As for effects- beautiful spacy euphoria. Will not promote deep negative thoughts like some Indicas can. Only slight munchies. Promotes deep sleep. I love it!! If you are a novice or get anxious from couchlock go slow with this one.

It feels a lot like Purple Train Wreck- mental zing and spacy- but with a lot more energy and a lot less fun. This is one of those pointless strains that breeders create “just because” and then slap a sexy name on them for marketing. Tinnitus sufferers should avoid this strain. I thought Bettie Page was supposed to be arousing and be great for inflammation? Not in my case. Didn’t do anything for my Meniere’s disease or Chrohn’s disease. As you can see from the Leafly profile, it is an anxious strain, but it is a low-level thing in the background. To be fair to Bettie P. she does spark some creativity and she won’t make you sad. As another reviewer said, the strain seems to enhance your sense of taste; good food is even better and bad food tastes worse. Ironically I made brownies with Bettie P. and she tastes just awful with chocolate. Had to use mint extract to get them down.

It has been a while, but I have shopped here twice. I was pretty new to herb at the time and I got good advice. The budtenders I dealt with knew the product well. Should also mention the stand-out customer service. Example- A strain I wanted had just arrived and was not in the system yet. The budtender, a young African-American fellow took the time to set it out and do all the computer work right there instead of telling me to comeback later. I appreciated that. The bud was of a good quality. It is nice to see that their prices are now after-tax and for rec users because they used to list prices for med and before tax so that clarifies things. Its a good dispensary.
