Tutti Frutti

8/10/2017
Tutti Frutti. After only two tiny hits of this I'm already feeling it's effects. Leafly says the effects come on slow, but for me (3 times now) it's fast-acting for sure! The flavor is indeed a bit fruity, maybe berry-like, and a bit earthy in flavor as well, and I admit that I can imagine an almost tropical flavor-- not citrus, but something kinda tropical... Almost Pine kissed with Mint. The appealing names of some of these strains can really lead one to expect something more from (or something else than) what the strain actually tastes like, and Tutti Fruity is no exception... Maybe it tastes fantastic vaped or in edibles, and I most certainly do enjoy it's taste in my freshly cleaned glass pipe here; I simply find it to be an unremarkable flavor despite it's appealing name. That said, it IS a remarkable strain! Fast-acting, heady, & potent, Tutti Frutti leaves me happy, perhaps a bit motivated, probably socially “on” if I was out in public & not typing this from my PC, itching to go do something fun. And it's a bit relaxing as well; my “itching” is not anxiety, so much as contained excitement for all the other awesome things I can do once I finish typing this sentence. ;-D

Pineapple Skunk

6/4/2017
With a fragrance much like a field of grass with perhaps just a waft of sweet, citrus, my batch of Pineapple Skunk (bud) smoked in a bowl tastes quite smooth. Difficult to pinpoint flavors at first, but it's a soft & smooth smoke, not harsh or hot or spicy-- but inviting, tempting, compelling me for a third hit right now, and already I'm feeling it's smooth, mellow lift, both in mind and body, and both quite nicely... And on only 2 hits, which is pretty frickin good given that I smoked (other good bud) early tonight & throughout the day. Third Hit: Still hard to pinpoint the flavors, but dayaaam this is tasty bud! Fourth Hit: Just a myriad of different flavors; I can imagine woody, piney, roasted-smokey, but most of all flowery, although not at all overpoweringly; again, it's a mild & smooth mishmash of subtle tastiness. Fifth Hit: Maybe bit more of a woody flavor this time... Lighting some fresh, green bud; Sixth Hit: Feeling really good, relaxed, happily high of mind (but not “out of it”), and along with the mildly pungent flavors (likely form the Cheese lineage of this strain), I actually (now) can imagine a pineapple taste, sweet throughout the background in flavor. The high is great. Nicely relaxed, but not comatose. I could totally move & do stuff if I wanted to, but am so happy to just chill here now. Good stuff, Pineapple Skunk!

Sour Diesel

10/22/2016
Earthy, pungent & diesel-like in flavor, yes, but the taste of something more green and planty-- somewhat piney perhaps-- comes through strongly to me, moreso than pungency does. I love the taste of pungent pot, and this has it, but only equal or less than the taste of green piney sweetness-- a flavor that seems to be in some sort of “higher register” (if there is such a thing)... Imagine a flavor "in the nose". Like that. Planty and sweet and almost like Pine but not... Like the essence of a really sweet sugar-snap pea pod, but wafting above a robust and earthly base of spiced caramel. A strong but balanced pungency wraps everything in a dank blanket, marrying pungent with diesel in a rounded aftertaste that bridges the gap between darkly sweet-earthy and the higher, greener, more “nasal” flavors, with subtle undertones of spice. The high came on pretty quick, and although the high is cerebral and great, writing this review has been progressively challenging and has taken me way, WAY too long to write. Lavender

Most of the buds of Lavender Marijuana that I have are are small, almost popcorn-like, with a couple of buds 2 to 3 inches long. Lavender has a beautifully sweet smell and I really love the way it tastes. I usually vape my herb, and this stuff tastes, well, beautiful... Even the phonetics of the name, "Lavender", is fitting for such a pleasantly mild and tasty bud! I vaporize my herb almost exclusively... Vaping floods my palette with flavour and I'm a lot more "cleaned-out" now. In the occasion when I do enjoy a good smoke from a glass pipe or water-piece, I often cough up a storm, and am overtaken by the flavour of all the combustion, all the natural chemicals, all the plant matter... All the SMOKE! (If you don't understand, that's because you haven't vaped regularly from a really good vaporizer yet; Something you really have to try!)... Well, this die-hard vaper has to admit that-- even from a pipe-- Lavender is rich and smooth... Very smooth... Very little coughing for me... Creamy in it's rich consistency, if you catch my drift. Creamy, like the froth of a Guinness, yet a bit spicy in flavor... Makes me think of the word "Ganja", Mun. This relaxes me nicely and, although I have not ever used it for insomnia, I have not gotten very sleepy after vaping/smoking. It's just a pleasure to smoke really... It doesn't rip you up stupid, but truly is a treat to enjoy.

Granddaddy Purple

3/14/2012
Yeah, this is some pretty amazing stuff... What a great combination of qualities too... For me it relaxes my muscles a bit, relaxes my body quite well, and yet does NOT at all give couch-lock. Happy, almost "fun" even... Great anti-anxiety/anti-depressive effects I'd say. It is strangely "energizing" while being a body-relaxer, so it's not a jittery sort of energy, but just a "higher vibration" sorta one... And ta-a-a-a-a-asty! In a glass-piece it's just smooth and tasty... The Granddaddy Purp that I've enjoyed (which I also currently smoke and taste as I type) has a strength in it's flavor, but it's still fairly "rounded", and balanced by a sweet "planty" flavor-- slightly fruity & slightly flowery. In a vape, it tastes ridiculous. For me, when it's vaped the flavor is deep, sweet, and expansive... So loving a flavor. The stuff's great. It truly is one of those strains worthy of remembrance. Very cerebral & almost "uppity" like a Sativa but ALSO gives the warm-fuzzies of the body and head like only a good Indica can.
