Phresh Cannabis

Had one good experience with a budtender that really tried. Thanks to her. Had two mediocre experiences, then one terrible one. Other than that first good experience ...budtenders acted inconvenienced I was there...did not walk over and be available to answer questions. When I did try to inquire about a product, they would not let me touch, hold, or examine the display item. Said it was against shop rules. Do they think I'm going to sprint out the door with it? Last time I went there...The two girls let me in, and once I started asking about the products to the budtender...the receptionist called me out to the waiting room. She said they computer would not accept my medical card. And that I needed to leave. I asked if I could not buy my medicine, could I at least buy a silicon pipe. They said absolutely not. I left and went to the shop on Walnut. My card worked just fine. Got all the meds I needed.

Electric Lettuce - Cedar Hills

I am a medical patient who needs a lot of patience from dispensaries. I have an auditory processing disorder and a nervous system disorder. Under ideal circumstances, when I'm am calm, I can process information and hear/speak just fine. If my nervous system or adrenal glands are activated, I can't hear well or produce speech well at all. I also have PTSD, and if upset enough, I have seizures. All of this gives me anxiety and I can barely look people in the eye. So I need compassionate people to help me! I buy large amounts of medication and need to be in a calm frame of mind to make such important decisions. I have been to Electric Lettuce three times and the staff has been warm, kind, and gentle every time. I love that they use humor. The have the perfect size selection and there's new stuff rotating in. It's really easy to decide which flower to get, really great set-up and list. Online menu is current. Thank you so much for your compassion! I rarely feel at ease so I am happy to have another place I believe I can trust.

Westside Wellness

I have an auditory and verbal disability. The owner said he would help me if I called him on the phone and asked for help. I have a medical card and was treated poorly here twice in the past. I saw they had a lot of medicine I was interested in and wanted to try again. I sent a message to Westside explaining my disability. I asked if a budtender could be made aware of my situation since it's impossible for me to explain in person. And let me know who to ask for. Seems pretty simple when I'm a medical card holder coming with $500. I always come with a list I've researched and I hand to the budtender. He/she just has to gather the items and take my money. The owner was an unprofessional abusive jerk to me. He wrote (after closing, but I never complained about his untimely response) just come in, no heads up to budtender. But if I had any recommendations for medical patients, let him know. I politely explained I asked him for what I needed. The budtender and I could both benefit from the time it would take him to pass my message along, and let me know who to ask for. The owner said he would've helped me if I had picked up a phone instead using written communication. The whole point is I can't hear or talk properly! He went on a rant about how he's fought for medical patients. ???????? This place is not safe for medical patients or people with disabilities. The owner's immature, abusive, unprofessional attitude trickles down. Never encountered such ignorance. He thinks he is "the only reason" Washington county has "medicine." ????????? I can't attach screen shots of the convo, but it's worth cutting and pasting... Me: Hi...I am a medical patient. I have researched your menu and have a long list of products I'd like to buy. I have some trouble with my hearing and really appreciate a lot of patience with my long order. I was hoping to come in at 3pm today. Will there be someone in particular I could see today that is good with medical patients? Thank you. Owner: So sorry I just am seeing this message. My staff will be able to assist you, I am confident in them. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for us in the future. We try to improve constantly with our patients needs. Me: I've been in twice before and did not have good experiences. I wanted to try again and it would help to know someone understood my situation ahead of time (thus my heads up) so I don't have to explain my medical situation in person. That's ok...I couldn't wait so I went to a shop I have had only good experiences at. I only spent some of my money there, was hoping to still get items on my list you have... but I don't think this is the place for medical patients. I'm really bummed, there was a lot of interesting meds on my list. 😔 I'm not sure how much trouble it would have been to pass my message on to the sales staff and give me a name expecting me but honestly it helps both the budtender and me...other places have done it for me no questions asked. Owner: I would have gladly done so if you had called and not messaged a page that no one monitors for messages. I would still do so for you. I'm so sorry you don't feel this is a store for med patients. Just so you know, I fought this County to bring meds to patients. Without Westside fighting there would have been no meds out here. I immediatley offered you assistance when I saw a notification. I'm sorry you are so upset.. Me: Did you read the part I have a hearing disability? Sir I cannot hear properly and the phone is useless for lip reading. Thus, a written message. Have a good night. I will leaving a review with a screen shot of your absurd criticism of my behavior. Owner: No I did not

Puff Oregon

Puff is my second favorite shop. I just wish it were closer! Still worth the drive, and it's actually a beautiful drive. The people are knowledgeable and friendly. Their selection is awesome and their flower always beautiful. They carry stuff I haven't seen elsewhere. I think the prices are good. Never had a bad experience in any way. (Plus it's right next to a Dairy Queen.)

Nuken

12/27/2016
I've tried my best to try as many strains I can. Nuken is my favorite strain of them all. I don't know what a Nuken is but I would've called it Funky Cole Medina. I have some in my 30-day emergency kit. I try to only smoke it occasionally so I don't develop a tolerance for it. When I finally take it out of the safe, I immediately feel calm and happy in a way no other weed does. I also find it combats how irritating other people act when I have PMS. Try some, but preferably not from where I buy it. It sells very fast and only comes in every few months.

Kaleafa - Hillsboro

I thought I was going to have to learn meditation to confront my problems but I sincerely asked myself "Why?" and thank God found Mahalo instead. Now I can withstand almost any bullshit with the high quality marijuana I purchase there. This is the shop that soldiers, who have seen some shit, go for their medicine. I haven't been to war but my 20s were pretty sketchy. The staff is wonderful. I think a family owns it (although I'd appreciate a family portrait on the wall so I could be sure; maybe something Christmas-y, but definitely not one of those old-fashioned tintypes. I hate those). That staff is very friendly, discreet, and completely lacks a snobby attitude. The guy in the stocking cap is particularly knowledgable, and really makes an effort to give everyone personalized service. I *rarely* stop in yet he always remembers what's new since the last time. (My doctor doesn't seem to remember me in between visits, but who's on drugs?) I read the other review and honestly don't know why people are complaining about the parking lot being small. Unless you have mobility issues, there's plenty of parking down the block where you should be parking anyway. No one needs to know your business for Christ's sake. Suggestions...a weed-tasting event would be fab, or complimentary rotisserie Chicago-style hot dogs, but whatever, I'm flexible. Thank you.
