This shop is centrally located near the Buckman neighborhood, clean and well-staffed. The flower product is organized in a "top-mid-bottom"-shelf system--there are plenty of decent deals ($10-12 per gram) in the mid range and GRAS really excells at the price point for 1/8th to 1/4 prices for their middle quality inventory. The budtender seems to be in control of portioning at the time of sale--other stores will prepackage their stock for future sales but GRAS permits the customer to "witness" the weighing process. Use this situation to your advantage: if the bud you are looking to buy comes in a jar which obviously contains a lot of shake, make sure tp point that out and the person behind the counter is more than willing to hand pick the wheat from the chaff, as it were. Some of the jars here have a substantial amount of loose, leafy material visible much more prominently than buds. This is my only beef with the place, and a small one as long as you feel comfortable asking for exactly what you want. Overall, for its convenience and price GRAS will easily be a shop I will both frequent again and recommend to friends.
