Harvested this a couple months ago, and it’s become a staple strain for us (will be in my next grow). Super easy to grow and its leaves turn a gorgeous light orange in late flower. My taste buds don’t do well with flavors, but my wife says she can taste the orange quite heavily. It’s sativa-heavy and very evident from the uplifted and euphoric, yet focused energy/high it gives. It rides in hard and fast, you’ll feel it after the first couple of hits. After a bit, it gives way to a smooth mellowness that’s simply perfect and it’s not so intense that you get couch-lock. Hits the eyes heavy so folks will know you’re stoned. The high lasts a couple of hours and if there’s a complaint, it doesn’t last as long as I’d like. Doesn’t detract from it at all, though. For sex, OD is excellent! For me, it goes straight for my libido and puts it in a stranglehold LOL. The increased energy and focus heightens sensitivity, but also allows you to draw out the pleasure - you can easily go a couple of rounds on this one. My wife and I are late 40-something’s who consume cannabis (in some form) pretty much daily (and since we grow our own, we can), have sex almost as frequently, and are in the early stages of semi-retirement. These reviews are based mostly on how a particular strain affect sex, but also daily activities.

Great strain to get stuff done. I’ve made this my mid-day daily and it’s worked out very well. The high comes on strong and quick, but not overbearing. Initial rush has my thoughts racing a mile a minute, then settles down and my head’s clear - I just have to be careful and concentrate on one thing at a time or “multitasking” would be an understatement.

Apt name for this strain - if you need a pick-me-up, this is it. Brings a clarity and sharpness to your thoughts and helps you get stuff done. Nice heady high that’s not overpowering. And the descent os smooth, just like a Lear Jet gradually descending for a nice, soft, controlled landing. This one’s a keeper.

Had the pleasure of picking this up on a trip to Cali last year. Bought from a dispensary in San Diego. My girlfriend and I were only in town for a few days so we only got a few grams. Should have bought a lot more. The stuff knocks you on your ass. Had me so relaxed that I couldn’t feel my legs. By the time we got back to the hotel, we were stoned out of our heads. Most weed makes me horny anyway and this strain was no different. Let’s just say we were plenty adventurous that evening! This stuff totally distorts time, too, and has slight hallucinogenic properties. A real hard buzz. Only negatives were the dry mouth we experienced and it induced a little paranoia in my girlfriend, but it was always short-lived and faded away within minutes. Overall a good smoke - would certainly be one I’d do again.

I deal with a lot of mental health issues (diagnosed PTSD, anxiety, depression) and I smoke primarily for medicinal purposes, although there are other side effects weed gives that I am particularly fond of. I don’t consider myself to be a connoisseur of cannabis like others, but I have smoked enough to know what I like and dislike. And unlike most other people, every strain that I have had the pleasure of smelling/smoking have all pretty much smelled and/or tasted the same to me. I read all the time about how one smells like pineapples or berries or this and that and the tastes that come from them - I’ve never experienced that. Ever. Each strain does affect me differently based on what it is, but as far as tastes and smells, there’s no big difference to me. I can’t say that I’m surprised since I guess I’m one of the rare people that really can’t smell flowers (not buds) like roses or carnations or whatever - I can’t smell that stuff. But when I opened that 3.5 g odor-proof package of Purple Punch, a new world opened to me. The aroma was amazing. I could actually smell the different things I had read in other’s reviews: the muted grape, all of the different berry scents and the unmistakable undertone of Fruity Pebbles! I must’ve sat there with my nose buried in that package for about 15 minutes - it was like nothing I’d ever smelled with weed before. The smoke and the high was pretty damn good, too. It was late and I wanted to test the Indica properties to see how it would help with sleep. So I packed my one hitter and took a nice long pull. And I could actually TASTE THE GRAPE!! Not only could I smell the stuff, but I could taste it! It was like a door to my senses opened up a little secret door and I was able to really get it, ya know?!? I sat there smacking rubbing my tongue on the roof of my mouth reveling in the berries and pine. It was amazing! I only took one hit, and I didn’t get the immediate head high others described. But after about 5 minutes, I could feel it work it’s way out from center and fill my whole body, until I was totally immersed in those sweet Indica vibes. Totally relaxing and sedating - it ended up being some of the best weed-induced sleep I’ve ever had. Along with Gorilla Glue, this strain is one that I plan to keep in mass quantities! If you can get your hands on this, stock pile!
