A perfect daytime smoke. Nearly 100% sativa with fantastic flavors of berry tannins and musky goodness. The terpene profile, flavor and smell of this strain reminded my wife and I immediately of Maitake mushrooms(Grifola frondosa) or hen of the woods. Woody, oaky, berry and umame mushroom notes. Never have I smelled or tasted such a complex bouquet from a sativa. For instance, landrace (pure) sativa, such as reunion island or Zamal, literally have no odor or taste-mealy and mildly citrus'y. However, this fantastic blend/cross to create sugar plum has been selected and back crossed perfectly for a fully flavorful, coffee like buzz and zero side effects(no cottonmouth, headache, red eye,etc). pretty much one of the most perfected Sativa strains on the market. If you get the opportunity, stop by Green Lady Cannabis in Olympia, WA to pick up a batch. All vendors of the strain I have tested here have been top grade, top shelf and affordable. A truly incredible, delicious and functional strain ;).

Green Lady West has a generally higher assortment and availability for strains than does the Pacific Ave branch(in my experience). Ask for Casey A. anytime you stop by. He is a like minded, very knowledgeable bud tender and is just down right fun to talk with about cannabis! We shared stories of recently experienced strains and our shared opinions of them. We both love Blue Magoo(who doesn't?) and have a shared love for functional, daytime sativa's. I highly recommend this shop for not only great selection and service but also for the knowledgeable staff and friendly atmosphere- feels just like the medical dispensaries I used to frequent while living in Yakima, WA, save for maybe the fact that with recreational we don't ever get to handle the buds or do the good ol smell test ;). Casey A. from here at West and Tara from the East side shop are both fantastic and whenever they are working, I always leave satisfied, happy and smiling from ear to ear. Best recreational cannabis in Thurston County, hands down :). If they are in stock, definitely check out King Louis X111(heavy indica), Dirty White girls(perfect daytime sativa), Sugar plum(perfect daytime sativa), Chocolope(perfect daytime sativa), Grape ape(perfect, powerhouse indica) and original Chem Dog from Cedar Creek farms(the best Chem Dog I have ever consumed- over 30%thc with this one, with zero paranoia or negative effects).

Only negative element to this strain is availability in most locations. A true diamond in the rough strain. The sativa effects are quick and energizing like a well cared for sour diesel, the mild body and indica twinges are reminiscent of agent orange or canna lope kush. Smell is slightly lemony but with a mealy, skunky frosted mini wheats back note , flavor is wonderfully sweet and citrus. Green Lady Cannabis in the Olympia, WA area carries dwg quite often and their main vendor for the strain, evergrow is one of the best local growers going today. Perfectly trimmed dense nuggets of dwg have ultimate bag appeal, mugs remind me of lambs bread or good grow of Camelot kush, very easy to pack in a bowl or roll up. Like I said above, the only negative aspect of this full spectrum, creative, energizing sativa is the common lack of availability. That being said, if you find this true strain(lemon wreck X Cinderella 99, NOT the bunk ass white widow crosses which are garbage) pick up as much as possible and store in your freezer, you will be grateful you did ;).

This is my second review of Green Lady East in Lacey , WA. Tara is as usual a fantastic bud tender and has an avid and enthusiastic approach to cannabis(just like myself!). If you want to talk terpenes, phenotypes, trichomes, growing conditions, strain specific edibles and what's her personal fave on the market, then Tara is your gal ;). I am a former medical patient and grower and have extensive experience and knowledge about cannabis not only as a plant to grow and enjoy recreationally, but also as a naturalist who appreciates and has extensive experience with medicinal fungi and medicinal herbs, to appreciate and love it as medicine and a true panacea. If you want that same vibe you used to get from a medical shop, with tenders who know and love the plant on the same level, then green lady East and West are your facilities! I choose East as it is closer to my home and Tara and Erik are both my favorite employees to run into and chat with. I highly recommend this shop not only for my experienced cannabis friends/users but also for novices and those a bit squeamish about trying cannabis for the first time. They never disappoint. Current menu flower that I recommend at this location---- Cheesequake by TGA, Grape Ape(Artizen), white fire alien kush(raven grass) and cannalope kush.
