The shop is well stocked with reasonable prices. It is very bright and tidy. I won't begrudge the store for having to follow IL regulations but I don't care for the kiosk and tablet system they use. It seems cumbersome and unnecessary to have to tell a computer what you want instead of a person. Furthermore, a person can help guide your decision making better than a computer. I got the Sour diesel which was disappointing. Besides not resembling the sour d of notoriety, the smoke was incredibly harsh, as if it were speed dried. The flower was obviously well grown but poorly handled. The potency was there but was quite muddy and not what I wanted from a sativa dominant flower. Again - this is probably IL regulation, but I want to smell the products I want to buy. I wouldn't have bought this one had I had that opportunity. I will certainly come back here as they stock many good strains from different companies.

This place sets a standard I hope other dispensaries follow. Nothing but friendly service, amazing flowers and clones. I bought a chocolope clone from here last year that performed better than any dispensary clone I've ever had. No bugs, powdery mildew, or loss of vigor that I've groaned through in the past with other club's cuts. Thank you guys, I will be back for more!

This place is top notch. From the warm welcome upfront to the budtenders, I never caught the "cooler than you, hurry up and leave" vibe found in some other dispensaries I've been to. Everything on the shelf looked desirable, if I had one gripe, it's that I couldn't try it all! I was very happy with the 3 flavors I tried. Of course, of the three, there was a least favorite, but I would stress that the one I didn't love as much was expertly grown and simply didn't meet my own criteria of what I want. I would certainly recommend this place and I look forward to coming back here.

I would like to give HOL 5 stars, but I can't, for two reasons. Yes their selection is very good, and the prices are great. I don't mind the unfortunate parking or small size of the place. The staff are by and large friendly and unhurried. However, I was extremely disappointed with the two clones I got from them last year. They were in my opinion, mislabeled, as the flowers I harvested were not the strains they were labeled to be. When you only have half a dozen plants to work with over the course of 6 months, it's a massive setback to wind up with a strain you didn't want. If I owned a dispensary, I don't know how I would try to "make it right" in this situation. I'm not asking for a free replacement, but some addressing of the issue would have been appreciated. The budtender I told this to seemed annoyed rather than sympathetic and begrudgingly took my contact info with an assurance I'd be contacted about this. I haven't been, which is a major fail in customer service in my book. I will still buy flowers here, as the quality and price are superior to most of the competition. I would not buy clones from them again.
